congratulations Knock on getting such a great job. Dunno about you already calling the boss a dumb bitch though. Thats not a great start is it 8o

Ive just rang a recruitment company back and am waiting for them to call me back about an interesting vacancy. Im on fuckin tenterhooks waiting for the call, got some spiel prepared, but am so rusty after being out of work for several months.

No, no no it's fine, because they got they got the wrong knock, the job is for someone else called knock who lives in Ohio, USA.

I have a gmail account I don't use much, and just noticed today a number of emails from the Fire Department, one of which gave me "my" login details to their scheduling system, and another one telling me I have training at 6pm tonight. I panicked at first because I thought maybe I'd signed up, while fucked, for some voluntary work at a fire station closer to home. Then I noticed it was Ohio, USA and it's not voluntary work.

There is another Knock in Ohio who is supposed to be starting tonight but no-one's told him! Well, they might have now.

Bit fucking retarded that they send their system usernames and passwords in plain text, together in the same email. I can see all their mobile phone numbers and email addresses. Could cause havoc 8o Won't cause havoc. :) I've told them they made a mistake.


Good luck with the phone call, it's nerve wracking when you've been out the game for a while isn't it?

Forget about my "job" MDB, have your phone call first then re-read it properly when you've got time and are relaxed :)

I haven't got a job. I've been involved in a case of mistaken identity. I thought it was funny and I tried to make a somewhat witty post about it. I failed. I then tried to explain it all in plain English but I failed that too. Lurching seems to understand though :)

But it's OK, cos I give up %)
 
lol, theres nothing worse than making what you think is a great wittty post and then hardly anyone gets it. Well, of course there are many things much worse than that but YKWIM.

the penny has dropped about your posts now, one cant get away with skim reading your posts knock, it leads to allkinds of misunderstandings.

Ive given up being on tenterhooks for that call that still hasnt come. fuck em, they might not call for hours, maybe shes got meetings all afternoon and wont call until tomorrow and im not gonna sit here all tensed up for hours for no reason.

MDB, Is it an interview, or is it just for a chat? If it's just a chat with an agent, I wouldn't be stressed at all. They're almost certainly not judging your ability in any way.


Sam, my impression is you usually read posts quite diligently.
