Times and the vast majority of attitudes i've seen towards mental illnesses have thankfullky changed massively from what i've seenObviously still noty ideal but people in general are much more educated and understanding. Says volumes for you MDB that ypou still spoke to him and kept him company, i like people like that
thankyou, kind of you to say. But tbh i didnt do it for charity or kindness i did it because i was interested in the guy. People would look at me like i was some kind of joan of arc for taking him out to the bar, far from it, i just didnt like thinmking of him trapped in his tiny student room 24 7 and seeing no one but drug dealers and me. I never got him to mix successfully, he was pretty insecure and would come across as snappy and unfriendly to evryone else. It annoyed me that intelligent people couldnt see through that.
