A round trip to loonyville eh, meaning you come back to where you started from ? I've not heard of any MXE casualties, in the same way as Acid casualties, but ive not really been following any of the MXE threads, i would be surprised if it hasnt wrecked a few heads though. That's the reason for my caution, i think a several month interlude between binges is the only safe way for me to take it.

I've only known of 2 "Acid casualties" in my life (other than those I know of because of their celebrity). Both of them were young men in whom LSD apparently triggered psychotic episodes. One of them was in the same club scene as me in the early 90s, he used LSD very heavily. The other said that he took LSD only once, I met him through an advert he placed in the paper asking for someone to confine him in a room while he withdrew from his anti-psychotic medication. He thought that by going mad he would cure himself. I met him, along with my pal, who'd shown me the advert, and we had a chat, but we didn't go through with that plan, and I don't know how things worked out for him as we lost contact.

All I'm getting at is that I hammered MXE for quite a while, and also 3-MeO-PCP, which is even more nutso, and yet I don't think I've ended up being permanently psychotic. It's probably a bit risky of me (and many others) to enrol ourselves as guinea pigs in a completely uncontrolled experiment, but hey ho, what's done is done =D and the results are in: does not guarantee permanent insanity. The acute effects of these drugs are most certainly lunatic, though.

aye, i think underlying predispisitions need to be taken into account.

Maybe im worrying too much.

MXE has always felt relatively comfortable and safe to me, compared to lsd or mushrooms where i often experienced a great deal of anxiety. I get none of that on mxe although i usually pre load a fair bit with etiz, its still a fuckin crazy roller coaster through your psyche, and it seems most people come through it ok and are left mostly intact and enriched.

I knew a guy at uni who was popping purple ohms all the time. He was schizophrenic before he even started on them, so i suppose he had nothing to loose, a bit like your guy trying to get sane by going mad. He used to have out of body experiences and could see peoples "halos" i think he called them, the colour of their being or whatever. This was without drugs. I was eventually the only person who spoke to him at uni, he was outcast by everyone else for just being too wacko. Im allways drawn to weird and wonderfull people.

I got the beginnings of what felt like an out of body experience on mxe, is that common ?

Literally 2 mins ago i woke up, I had a dig half an hour or so ago, maybe more idk and went o get an ice cream bar out the freezer ( i fucking love ice cream), just woke up with a crick in the neck and face first in a fudge ice cream bar :D

That tickled me :), though it was a bit of a fucking waste of a nice ice cream bar

That's sad that the guy was ostracised like that but cool you kept contact with him. It's no surprised either seeing as I don't remember mental illness being mentioned once at school (other than abusively in the playground), kind of a massive omission.

Yes MXE does OOBEs at the right dose :) Or "holes" as they're more generally known. edit: sorry that wasn't meant to sound condescending but reading it back it does :| I am assuming by OOBE you're referring to the same experience that gets called the "hole" i.e. the body becomes less relevant to experience, perhaps completely irrelevant... i.e. dissociation.

Ha GBL has given me a couple of terrible cricks in my neck, wake up and I have to hold my head in my hands and move it about to get myself going again. Not the greatest look, especially seeing as I have a bad neck anyway... I've managed to avoid putting my face in my pudding but you've reminded me I bought a load of choc ices and cornettos on my Sunday night Waitrose adventure :D and of course I have GBL :sus:

Times and the vast majority of attitudes i've seen towards mental illnesses have thankfullky changed massively from what i've seen :) Obviously still noty ideal but people in general are much more educated and understanding. Says volumes for you MDB that ypou still spoke to him and kept him company, i like people like that

@Knock aye man i got opi munches and bought a fuckton of ice cream! GBL i've never managed to rest with heads in the hand, it had to be sprawled on the floor, i couldnt physaclly k.o in my hands haha. But opis, god iv missed this so much, lazing wherever the mood takes me :) Back to sobreity in 2 days so ima make the most of it

Knockando, is the money man coming back? :(

Didn't realise opi munchies was a thing, always get hungry as fuck after I've been on codeine but just assumed I was weird.

As an aside, I had 30mg this morning and it's knocked me almost as much as my usual dose does. Dunno what's with that. It's like 10x less. Usually doesn't do a thing. Not that I'm complaining!

Really getting used to this going to bed early and getting up early thing. Past week I've been asleep by 9-10 and awake by 5, out the house by 7 to see to the horses. Feeling massively less depressed and anxious. Is really nice :)

Yeah, anything is possible one that stuff

as for your "thinking too much" comment yesterday, yeah can be a bad thing, i sometimes think too much, weed triggers it or the after effects of stims. all anxious and overthinking shit

still feeling quite nice from the vallies last night

There's a lot to be said for that kind of routine. Even though it can be really gloomy and uninviting at this time of year.

Still feeling like shit from last weeks 1010mg of OXy:\ Get some more tomoz thank fuk.

Feeling like shit?

Not to gear . But last week i had extra Oxy that;s why i'm feeling it . I have been taking extra methadone to get by but still feel rough . I'll be ok by tomoro.

Ok i've only had Patches , the gel ones were the best . My opinion of Fent is that it's a very cold opiate no nice warm Oxy/ Heroin thing .

This is where folk can get in trouble cos they go looking 4 something that is not there . As long as you know what you are gonna get n are satisfied with it then you'll be ok .

Personally i can't get what i want from it .

Go steady .

You are awesome! Everyone else can go now

didnt sound condecending. No i didnt mean the body becoming less relevant. An OOBE is when you mind leaves your body maybe just rises a foot ot rwo to look down on your own body, my old buddys OOBEs used to have his mind on the ceiling looking down on his body in bed, and then it would travel through the walls of his house and watch his parents downstairs. With mxe i got the feeling that was starting to happen, maybe my mind left my body by about a foot or so but was immediately snapped back in again. OOBE are a psychological phenonomenon. I dont think there's any evidence for them existing, but certainly thousands of people (claim to) have them.
