Legions of children are marching up my road shouting and squealing an overstimulated :' Left Right Left Right'.

I'm just praying that the two Rivitas, 3 1/4 Bourbons, and chocolate eclair will satisy them. If not I'll be chasing them down the road with a bit of two be four. Little shits egged my winders last year.:sus:
 
Yeeesh, I'm shattered, just spent five hours tramping round the closest thing I can find to countryside and found no shrooms whatsoever. Plenty of interesting funghi of all shapes and sizes except the variety I was looking for.

And on the way there there was some kind of fuckup with my oyster card and the reader and I've got a £40 penalty notice which I am now going to appeal against because FUCK THEM.
 
I don't wanna sound rude jancrow, and I'm a bit wary of upsetting you cos you sound like you're ready to kick off at anyone, but do you know what you're looking for? Are you going to places you've picked shrooms before? Or places that you've been told definitely have shrooms growing?

If any kid eggs me when I go for booze there will be dead children round here as well. I hate them as it is.

No, those are reasonable questions.

I've done a LOT of staring at other people's mushrooms and I'm, erm, an observant and in-tune with nature sort of chap (for a townie) so reasonably good at spotting subtle differences between things. I am reasonably certain that had I seen any I would have identified them correctly. As it was I saw lots and lots and LOTS of other types of mushroom (40 varieties perhaps?) some bigger, some smaller, some about the same size as libs, but nothing I would confidently have called a lib.

The place I went is reputed to be a good place to find them (it appears on at least one non-druggy fungus survey as a home of druggy fungi) and has roaming animals and a huge variation in soil types and habitats. I haven't been there with this purpose in mind before.

I also found a rat's skull, which I'm beginning to with I'd brought home with me.
