Couldn't agree more, Best of luck with it tomorrow
I concur. I think anybody who spends long enough around EADD parts will sooner or later notice that it always has - and probably always will - ebb and flow. We get times where it's really busy and it's all but impossible to keep up with the number of new posts, and we get times where you can leave days between logging in and barely notice anything having changed. We get times when there does seem to be an especially close-nit group of regulars - sometimes this results in cliqueyness, other times in just a very pleasant atmosphere where more or less everyone gets along. Other times there are schisms and factions and such like.
The have always been two constants I am aware of though. Firstly there are people (and I include myself in this cos am often guilty of it) pining for some lost Golden Age of times passed and past back in days of your when EADD was all fields. And secondly there are those cycles - those ebbs and flows. Anybody who sticks around long enough is likely to have bouts of being the former which are best cured by awareness of the latter. A forum is whatever the regular posters make it which is why - even if some of the individuals come and go - EADD still always feels like EADD. Does to me anyway.
