I would suggest that there are often "private" conversations going on in here that some may not feel they wish to try to break into for any number of reasons. And there are often somewhat awkward situations ongoing but people don't usually feel they cannot post, rather they simply post around whatever the awkward bit is and whoever is the source of said awkwardness either realises it and amends their behaviour or ignores it and carries on regardless. Again, the world doesn't fall off it's axis and people gibber away as usual.

I may be wrong but it seems to me that those who are most allergic to bushy-tailed rodents are mostly talking about personal distaste (as evidenced by the uniting factor being "cringe"). Sadie will not appreciate me using this analogy but does seem somewhat apt to me... It's perhaps a little like coming downstairs in the middle of the night to get a glass of water and walking in on your parents snogging in the living room. It may make you sick a little into your mouth but there's nothing actually wrong in either mushiness of one party nor with ewwwwiness of t'other party. Lifelong scarring is unlikely and it is fair game to bring it up over breakfast the next day - one side of the table mildly traumatised, t'other side being as sympathetic as is possible whilst playing footsie under the table.

If it truly was a constant stream of squirrels that would be a genuine issue but that really isn't the case (certainly not as far as my own squirrelish antics go). Yes there are splurges here and there but in almost every instance they happen when the place is dead and there's nobody else posting in Gibberings or anywhere else. Not every instance but most that I recall (I know cos it's often the fact that there is nobody around to remind us to get a room that puts the brakes on (eventually) cos I am in the habit of frequently checking who is reading EADD and it's almost always just myself and Sadie cos everybody else went to bed hours earlier). If you happen to have caught us mid-squirrel several times that really would be bad timing and could see how that would skew your perspective. Other than that I'm tempted to call sourpuss grumpypants :p;)<3

I think sir Shambles is on point today. I don't know anything about most of the people on here 'cause i haven't been here for a long time, but the whole forum is really nice :) I think i'm taken way too serious sometimes anyway (or i don't take anything seriously from the internet) =D

People get offended by the smallest opinions somehow, it always happens.

I'm just gonna print my cheat notes and not gonna fail my exam tomorrow. Dats how i roll, gonna bang on some xanax before so i will be deadly calm 8) i'm such an stupid lady, i deserve an award if i manage to get an good grade on that crap. But it happened before, so it might again :| not proud of it, but fuck it.

I know I am a prime offender but didn't realise any harm was being made. Sammy and I are friends (ewww). We hadn't ever pmmed until yesterday's llama escape. I am lucky enough to have meet some kind people here who've all been friendly. Everyone's allowed an opinion and I apologise if a joke offended anyone! I shall be mindful about what I post now which is quite sad because I was having fun and that became an issue to some.

Evey, it was dead as a doornail most of the time. I even gave up lurking because I knew there'd either be no new posts, or if they were, they'd probably be from knock.

Not to knock knockando, may the Lord rest his soul, but that wasn't the forum's finest hour IMO. Not his fault, necessarily, but the only time things got lively was when there was an argument, which was usually allowed to continue forever.
 
Benzos before an exam is an extremely bad idea, please believe me and trust me on that one. The last thing you want is to be too relaxed with impaired judgement and impaired critical thinking abilities. If you were gonna take any substance id recommend speed, you'll have great focus and powers of concentration. Just make sure you stay on topic. Are you expecting to do well, or just scrape a pass? If you wanna do well there's no substitute for hard work in preparation and you'd be better off with no more than a cup of coffee, a light meal and some fruit beforehand.

What an excrutiatingly boring answer that was im sorry. Ive turned up to exams pissed out of my skull, barely able to see the print on the pages. I knew i was gonna fail that exam anyway, so i thought i may as well fail spectacularly. I pulled several allnighters on speed meeting last minute deadlines. By then i hated my course and i just wanted to complete it. With the essays i wrote speeding i got 55%, but i got them finished within 6 hours of first picking up a book, it would usually take 6 days of prevaracating on which books to read. Kratom would have been pretty handy at the time, it can be quite a sane, sensible and rational stimulant.

My drugs worker really annoyed me when i told her that id spent all day on kratom firing off 50 job applications one day, she automatically assumed they would be nonsensical gibberish, she was very wide of the mark as i was getting around a 50% response rate, so they cant have been bad, i was just struggling with motivation. The drug workers job seems to be to brainwash people into thinking drugs are bad and that the user must stop taking them. Im glad ive stopped going to that place. I never really did commit one way or another, so ive ended up drifting along wherever things may take me. Quite by chance ive massively reduced my benzo intake.

I'm so cold today :( my illness is playing up on me. Even had to sleep with those fucking splints on last night....my apologies for antisocial behavior.
