didn't sleep atall last night, stims 3 days in a row, might need the men in white coats, feeling a bit paranoid and edgy. Nothing a cup of tea, something to eat and deliberately not taking any more drugs today can't fix though.

Just google Multiverse Theory, or something along those lines, pretty much every physicist in the world agrees that there HAVE to by multiple universes. I guess because it says theory in the title you could argue it isn't fact but you could say the same about gravity, "They theory of gravity" Multiple Universes and the Multiverse are a fact. Deal with it
 
A fact is something that is KNOWN to be true and like you said your multiverse is Theory. Prove to me it exists. Take me to one and I will believe you.

It's the bending of space and time.
And it's not a theory - You'd be in a vacuum otherwise.
Surely you've seen the heavy-cylindrical-object on a piece of cloth version?

I'm not denying gravity, just saying it's still a working theory

I know what it is monster, but you'll struggle to find anywhere in any physics books where it states that gravity is fact.

My offer still stands for you to take me to a parallel universe Mugz.Bearing in mind I'm 41 now so you may only have another 30 or 40 years to do so.
 
Then what is it that keeps us standing on this hunk of rock, and that allows us to use a star to see behind it like we're using it as an extension of a telescope?
The only logic for that is that the star is warping space-time and peering beyond is possible.

What's not been explained is why it's so "weak" compaired to the other forces.
But there's the theories of minute dimentions and string theory etc.
 
Just because something is still in theory mode doesn't mean the results can't be seen now, the theory part is figuring out how it work quantumly and in reaction with the other laws of physics.

I don't deny gravity, just as I don't deny the Multiverse, they are both as real as each other to me.

Hahah I said tongue in cheek, but I didn't mean britain today is like nazi germany, but has some characteristics you would probably find in peacetime postwar 'nazis won' europe.

You are a strange one at times Mugz but even if I give you a bit of stick,never think I dislike you because that just isn't true.
 
It would make a great thread, I think opening a portal and getting there would be hard enough, finding one to bring us back to the exact same one we left from would be virtually impossible. When we got there though you'd likely meet yourself and myself living our lives in the alternate reality, that would be a shocker.

I know I'm a strange one, I'm just not afraid to air my beliefs and stand by them. I never thought you disliked me at all, so no worries there :)

A theory can be something which hasn't be proven, and still be a theory after it has been proven. Like music theory describes a set of rules and operations and allows people to use the theory.
 
Fuck sake.

There is no "fact". There is a model composed of theories, and some theories compete with other theories. There is a scientific consensus on which are the best theories but there are no "facts".
 
The scientific theories that are the ones that are followed are the ones where the most facts can be proven.
