A major complicating factor is that most cars in the UK, if not the rest of Europe, are manual, so you don't just point the fucker in the direction you want to go and change the speed. You have to get comfortable with doing a little dance over three pedals as your revs increase. This setup also makes it possible to do handbrake turns which are basically the whole point of driving.

We also have a thing called round-abouts to save time getting places, instead of having a 4 way junction with traffic lights every time a few roads meet. :sus:

I didnt even realise till recently like the MAJORITY of cars in the US are auto

"drive stick" "stick shift" "please get out the veeeeee-hhicle madam"

I took my test in a stick shift hatchback because it was easier to parallel park but automatics are so much better to drive. Frees up your hands to adjust the radio or smoke weed or flip someone off or whatever.

All cop cars are automatic as well

nah man their cars are real fast, and most people who get into chases arent driving around crazy fast cars like in the movies, its usually the opposite. Not that no one ever gets away, but usually thats because they lose sight of them from changing direction / traffic

Police lose chases in the UK constantly. Most chases result in a succesful escape.

Also if you start being a fucking lunatic they have to call off the chase, if your bombing around on a motorbike with no helemt and they are chasing you they decide its better just to let you go rather than chase you and most likely end up killing you, not like in the US theyll probally just ram out off the road. Ive seen countless videos though of any decent car just abousltey pulling away on the motorway and the police are no where to be seen. Only cars ive seen that catch up are the subaru imprezas they use in the UK.

I only went and broke another laptop :( Am typing with my ps3 controller again until I get batteries for my keyboard or get a new laptop. I really need to be more careful with my laptops, that's two in about 3 months broken.

Had my first day back at work today after 9 weeks off and it wasn't as bad at all as I'd imagined :) I'm on phased return so only 3 half days this week and then 5 half days next week and then the week after i'll start doing some half days ansd some full days for 2 or 3 weeks until i'm back to full time hours. Luckily i'll still get paid for full time the whole of my phased return time though. Surprisingly it was actually nice to be back today and everyone was a lot nicer than i'd expected.

Those Subaru police cars are fucking classy. Occasionally I see them and I'm instantly reminded of Gran Turismo.

Lol @ Mugz

Cornish that video is amazing.
