G'night. Hope things pick up for you. We all know how shite the daily grind does become! <3 I've been quite relaxed by working mostly part time for the past few months. It will probably be a shock when I'm back on 48.

I would definitely recommend emancipating yourself from fb.

I'm really not a fan. Despite what I said above, I don't go around pontificating or anything. It has its uses but it has become far from utilitarian. I was on it for a few years and had to stop when I was checking it often and it was making me feel depressed just watching the whole ugly show :) It's actually a pain in the arse because I've missed out on a few romantic opportunities from not having it eg. meeting someone you met once a few months ago and them saying they tried to get in touch but couldn't find me on facebook. I'd be tempted to have one with no information but my name, town, and a headshot.

What's the matter? My assumption would be that it's work related. I come on here an bitch about some wee boy throwing a snowball in my shop, but I know that being a paramedic has an infinitely bigger space for real stress to pop up. I just think about how distressed I've been from seeing the reasons I'm calling an ambulance. I can't imagine the frequent exposure to those charged situations.

This sounds a bit weird but if i ever do need an ambulance for whatever reason, or my kid/kiddie does, i hope its with somebody like you

I too play the Clarinet and the Trumpet along with several other instruments in-between. I still have both as well though my Clarinet needs re-corked badly!

I never could get the hang of guitar but used to play bass.

I usually just come up with my own music rather than read it anymore so I'm a bit rusty to say the least on reading sheet music. :(
 
I can't play anything :( I have a tambourine from Glastonbury that's seen better days. I can't even sing (though I do anyhoo). Was no bad at the recorder at school, things like the Bonny Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond and 3 blind mice. I hate not being musical :( One of my sons got the gene from his dad and can play guitar, piano, drum and has taken on a sax recently. Aye DNA....8) you gotta love it :!

That was the one of the best best nights out I've ever had. Kilts. Tartan. Socialism. Alcohol. Music. Smoking. Genuinely nice people who are on our team.

Fired up for this weekend's activities now. :)

Yes, I am quite musical. I'm sure you knew this of me.... Guess not.

I do have a trumpet ( technically daughters ) and my own Clarinet that was mine growing up. I no longer have my bass. I also play sax and a few other variables of those. A bit of trombone and tuba as well.

Glad to see so many up. Thought it was going to be a lonely evening
