I ended up turning an angle grinder into a crude milling machine using bungee straps to hold it on a bench and then gas welded the sorry mess together:)

Luckily I didn't lose any fingers as I was a little drowsy.
 
Considering dosing 300mg pregabalin whilst my dads's out shopping. The adverse side effects of that shit last forever, though. I might be better off sticking to my loraz.

hahahaha that was a name i gave her a while back, cheese as you like but actually accurate, not many ppl can cheer me up quite like her, but you are right, if i make anymore comments like this ill fund some eadd sickbags :P

I once took 2 x 50mg (legitimately scripted) tramadol caps and 1 x tab of (legitimate unscripted) LSD and nearly died of serotonin syndrome. Wasn't so much the dying part as the delirium and fukkin unfeasible agony that "nearly dying" of serotonin syndrome necessitates. Add in the fact that tramadol has - hands down - the single most unpleasant and long-lasting w/d effects I've ever come across and my personal advice to folk would be to keep it strictly to occasional use and NEVER combine with other drugs. Even "official" medical websites list over 600 "serious" drug interactions with around a third of those being "potentially fatal" from memory. Nasty, nasty shit. But a pleasing perker if taken by itself on occasion i must admit.

In reference to the thread title, I mentioned my oh-so-very-close brush with death to the GP who scripted me several hundred trams a month without ever mentioning potential interactions with both prescribed, illicit and OTC products and he wasn't even aware it was possible. Apparently he was glad I brought it up and will take it into account in future. One can but hope. And I'd suggest that is the very definition of "Shamming the Doc Summat Rotten".
 
Sounds awful Shamz my GP gave me tramadol 50mg up to 8 a day for nerve pain (carpel tunnel etc) They did fuck all and I'm on psychiatric cocktail of mood stabilisers with a ssri thrown in. Asked her nicely to move me over to codeine Solpadol. Much better all round. As long you dont abuse them.

Did a CWE with too many and puffed up with the hives, what a sight, scratching like a cat all night. Awful experience.
