i couldn't imagine getting up to the high jinx I did in the past. I thought I was bullet proof at the time. I think they name it the `18/35 demographic for good reason as over 35 town seems like the wild west:D

I'm doing ok thanks Joe. Yes I am enjoying a nice chilled out evening.
You are dead right about believing we are bullet proof when we are younger. Looking back on those times I can't believe that I managed to get out alive from some of the things I did & situations I found myself in.
I haven't properly been out down town at night for years now. It just holds no attraction to me anymore, would much rather stay home and have a quiet & comfortable night in.
 
So hot.. another sleepless night by the looks of it :(

Havent used any subbies since the second day of the holiday and have effectively, been "clean:\" for a week, bar the couple of lofexidine I took just as a gesture.

So after todays events and feeling pretty lousy anyway I came up with the great idea to sniff 6mg of subs... kin'el, they are disgusting. Thought today couldn't get much worse but ohhh no, I did it, I got myself a sore nose, a horrible drip, all for no reward :\

Dunno why I thought to share that bit of drivel and self pity but... y'know

Wish Inflo was around for some chats... I'll settle for you though Raas, if you're about ;)
 
for once if i vanish this time it is not my fault its the so called medical services flat refusing to help me with my benzo problem i have run of my taper because i decide not to buy in bulk just 20 instead of a 100 and now i am starting to go cool turkey and got told by the out of hour doctor last night that its basically my own fault and he has no interest in helping me so if some thing happens and i vanish you know its not intentional
 
Crap, sorry to hear that fg. Give it a little while and someone with a bit of benzo experience might be able to offer some advice. :( <3

i dunno if thats the right approach for benzos FG, how long have you been regularly (dayly) taking them and at what kind of doses?

Anything longer than a few months at anything above 'recomended therapeutic doses', and you really do need to taper, seizures and other very unpleasant things are very real possibilties otherwise.

Also there's just no need to make things so bad for yourself, maybe with opis some people feel its best to tough it out and cold turkey it and get it over and done with quickly. But it doesnt work that way with benzos, the mental w/d symptoms can last for months, if you taper you can keep them to a minimum. One site is selling off its etiz tablets at halfprice, i got a 100 for next to nothing. If they arent bunk im gonna be placing a larger order.
 
Morning - anyone got a link to a youtube playlist thats got a mixture of pop, good electronic music, 90's pop , current good tracks etc a mish mash of good tunes. All suggestions appreciated
 
No offence to the female population of the police force, but ive seen two very young girls been sent to a big fight, one got decked the other ran away, not saying theyre not cut out for the job (actually they really arent), but sending them to deal with people 2x there size is not really on.

I cant recall what they call those big burly coppers that drive round in those meshed vans to deal with violent situations - violently. (Tactical AID or something :?8(:!) But surely it would make more sense to send them than to send young girls to deal with a fight. Perhaps they hoped the girls feminine charms might win the day:\ Or perhaps they were all that was available. It would make very bad headlines for the police w/e the reason. But i think Female police officers could sometimes be useful in completely taking away all the macho posturing and stuff that sometimes goes with low level thugs, and just creates a pain in the arse for everyone involved. I dont think anyone would think they were big or clever for decking a woman. And at risk of sexist stereotyping, in general, females are meant to be better at dealing with 'sensitive situations'.

I dont think ive ever seen a fat or old copper, that i can recall, causing me to think 'he'd not be much use running someone down'. Ive reached that dreaded age where a lot of the police force are starting to look younger than me.

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good weekend!

As some of you might have known I had an exam last week so I planned to go on a bit of a bender this weekend. Unfortunately my plan failed to materialise as I was a tad too sober last night "babysitting" a usually dignified friend of mine who had about ten too many. Of course his drink was "spiked" and his money "fell out of his pocket." 8) I always wonder why people go to the effort of spiking drinks but then decide not to pursue their victim, seems like a massive waste of drugs to me ;) at least I woke up this morning with a clear head and some very entertaining memories for a change!

In other news I am moving abroad in two weeks' time so I'm very excited about that! =D
