Haha I wish! I wasn't going to say where as it's a really obscure destination and it would make me very identifiable but I'm moving to Warsaw. Just for the year and as part of my college course, mind. And yeah a little bit never wracking as I don't know anyone else going, I've never been there before and I can barely say 'hello' in Polish but fuck it I'm up for a challenge!
Poland is actually pretty warm compared to England, summers get bloody hot.. except the winters, then it's fuuuucking chilly. The way I'd describe the weather is just that the seasons feel how you'd expect them to, not just "grey and lukewarm" like England.
You'll certainly like it over here I think. I've been living down near Krakow at the South of the country since 2010 and although I was nervous about moving here at first (despite having a grasp of the language I had severe social anxiety at the time and my Polish still sucked pretty bad) I'm really happy I did now.
As others have said, the girls are absolutely fantastic here, the drink is great, the people here sure know how to party (and as an extension of that the drugs are great, the concerts are cheap, and there's always something happening)! :D
Don't worry about not knowing the language, you'll pick up enough to get by real fast if you try, and you don't really need to know the language at all if you're lazier

most people here have a good grasp of English, and you'll be able to get by fine just asking for things that way. Also despite the fact that there is a fair bit of racism in some places in Poland and foreigners aren't always too well liked, English and Americans seem to be fair exception to that rule, and a fair few times I've been treated almost like a celebrity and bought free beers, drugs etc just for being from England, gotta love that. :D
