spent all morning being bounced around after papers / proof of studies and such. man i hate queues. the way people just stand about doing nothing for hours at a time just so they can pay some shitty tax is life draining

It wasn't me who made the new thread... I've been out & about. I would most definitely have given it a title had I been alert enough to notice the post count. :D
 
Thank God for electronic banking, it has virtually eliminated all time spent queing up to pay taxes and bills, the money just comes in and goes out without me ever getting my hands on most of it.

Also interesting to learn that the Brits and Americans are relatively liked over in Poland. Perhaps its because we helped Poland during the war? Or that we generally arent in the least bothered by the large number of Polish immigrants that we have over here.
 
well tax might have different meaning eh, for me it s not necessarily tax towards the state, but for instace fees for various exams and whatnot.

@sammyG - coming from a previouslt communist country, we too have a culture of queues here.
it's not even that you have to stay in line.
it's the damn shedule at the offices too. people work, have jobs, do useful shit. but no, to pay some damn fee or tax or whatever, you have to get a day off and stand in line, because the damn lady clerk there can only work from 10 to 17. wtf. there should be laws against that

meaningul jobs - 9 - 17
shitty soul stealing, wallet emptying, homeless making tax collecting - 17 - 21. or something. make the fuckers work late nights.

dont know man, americans and english are well liked where im at too (not poland, but similarly eastern country). but then, i think its the same for most western civilized peoples.
probably nothing to do with wars (the new generations have barely any recollection of anything historic, be it 10 or 50 years ago), but more to do with the impression of weath and culture the West projects.
And more than half the movies and music out there is in english...

what else are we going to look towards? Putin?

As for the accord between Poland and the US, it's more to do with this than World War II, though maybe I'm being cynical.

And to be fair about the antisemitism, I'm stereotyping. It's just something which is perhaps more acceptable in (parts of) Poland than it is over here.

worked with a lot of polish people and they look at us like shit on their shoe no interest in integrating with us just taking as much money and jobs as they can

the have been one or two that were ok but most were just nasty
 
Oh yeah i've heard if you type the war too big Stalin may get resurrected for a couple days and stick his balls in your mouth as you sleep
