Went on the bus my Herbalife shake in a carier bag. The thing only split everywhere so had to get off bus, go home make another mint choc shake n now going to be late for volunteering. These shakes cost £27.50 so not happy with wasting any.

Oh the joys of dieting.

Have I Got News For You | Season 47, Episode 6 | May 9, 2014 [HDTV]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcw9eFk4Fkk

check him out from 2:36. What an absolute wanker.

That whole episode was very good. Why do many parties often seem to select the worst possible candidate as leader. :sus: David Milliband is clearly far more personable than Ed. I also mean John Major as PM, jesus christ, he's turned out to be quite good at popping up to say clever and interesting things over the last few years, but as a PM, Spitting Image had him down as a grey robot, saying "i like peas"

They're all full of promises. I'm labour, though I believe nothing they say, but Labour are more for working class n families.

I'm disgusted at what the Tories have done to our welfare system.

Oh I must say they are extremely clever at how they turned the workers n people on welfare against one another with the media's help, very clever indeed. Making people on benefits out to be lazy bums when in reality we are frightened to seek employment because we're scared we'll end up with nothing, scared of being bullied n sacked like what happened to me once.

The way Labour had things WORKED. I actually sought out two jobs when I didn't need to do so. Because they had the linking rule which was a safety net.

It's ok for people to say we're lazy bums when they're able bodied, not sick n don't have any issues affecting them. I personally WANT to work but it's not always straight forward.

I will say I like the work- related interviews that we have to attend - they have some helping stuff. But to scrap the link rule was daft as it gave people on benefits less fear to seek employment - because they had that safety net to fall back on if it all went wrong.

Beautiful day today, sunbathing in a bit me thinks. hair cut sometime soon

Morning folks,

Unfortunately it is not sunny here.

Just off to the indoor market to get me a pipe. Then I'll probably just do a few chores & then chill out for the rest of the day. :)

Sunshine SCORCHIO and hungover to fuck. Off to get me a paddling pool..wait for the postman and think about a bit of weeding. ooooh.

Enjoy all. <3

Ive known a hell of a lot of Petes and Steves.

This is where the Welsh tradition of naming people by their house name or occupation comes in usefull; Glyn The Sawmill, Aled Ty Bach, Aled Ty Mawr etc. Surnames rarely get used, its like some ancient medieval thing or something, and i believe it's how many English surnames came into being like Taylor, Smith etc. Though i spose names like Dan The High Street wouldnt be quite so effective in a massive city.

Think I'm gonna get the chair out and have a sunbathe listen to some tunes and drink a few cans of Bud..

Ty Mawr?

Evey. There's a country part down from me called that.

I don't sunbath myself. Boring. I prefer to do something productive like gardening or welcoming newbies on BL. Plenty of time for resting when I'm dead lol

Very interesting MDB.

Surnames are very intriguing things.

The origins of Scots names like McDonald are all to do with hereditary lines. So Mc (or Mac) means "Son of". Therefore, McDonald is the Son of Donald, who everyone else with that surname is a descendent of. They are all part of Clan Donald. (Clann being gaelic for "Children of", or more technically Progeny.)

Wikipedia said:
The Norse-Gaelic Clan Donald traces its descent from Dòmhnall Mac Raghnuill (d. circa 1250), whose father Reginald or Ranald was styled "King of the Isles" and "Lord of Argyll and Kintyre". Ranald's father, Somerled was styled "King of the Hebrides", and was killed campaigning against Malcolm IV of Scotland at the Battle of Renfrew in 1164.

Fascinating stuff. Something to think on next time you go to pick up a Micky D's.

Thats good to hear evey. x

Yea i agree sunbathing gets a bit boring, i get too restless, would be nice if i could fall asleep in the heat but can never seem to, been in and out sunbathing at the mo. tunes on

Thanks chatative n Dan. I don't deal with stress very well but all sorted n all's ok with the world again :)

Yea good having tunes on in this weather.

I just gotta get back in touch with my old mate Dan, now. Getting back on yahoo messenger reminded of him n miss him. He was a good friend. Never met but knew each other online n our exes n talked about our kids. We used to have a good ol' b**** about our exes. I kind of messed my friendship with him when I was going through addiction. Last we had a major argument n he told me to go fry my brain with codeine. I deserved that - but miss the friendship we once had.
