Yea i agree sunbathing gets a bit boring, i get too restless, would be nice if i could fall asleep in the heat but can never seem to, been in and out sunbathing at the mo. tunes on

thats where the benzos, opis, stims, tunes, audibooks or w/e come in. Not really doing any of that today, cba with sunbathing today, just had 20-30 mins to top up my vitamin D and turn a shade more red / brown.

Surely getting fucked up in the sun isn't sunbathing though? It's just, um, getting fucked up in the sun.

Not that there's anything wrong with that really, but y'know...

Yeah i guess you are right, it just depends which part of the process you put the emphasis on. :?

You having a sensible sober one today? good on ya

yeah sort of, just a bit of modafinil today, promised myself i wouldnt buy any more beer for a while after my 20 box runs out. But I'm left with 2 cans though, now that is a bloody awkward number, definately not enough, so might have to get a bottle or 2 more in, and then try to stop drinking for a while, after this evening, as it is fucking up my stabilty and progress on my benzo taper.

How come booze is messing up your stability and progress on the taper? craving benzos ontop the booze i assume... or something.. lovely combo

Dunno what modafinil is... might google it in a min

Just a bit of modafinil and a few beers, huh? How very sober. ;)

well i guess its a slight improvement on habitual opi, or bupe, or kratom use, it takes far longer to get physically addicted for one thing. Jack London reckons it takes years to get addicted to booze, i dont intend to put that to the test mind. ;)

because booze is an additional cns depressant, it makes planning and getting started on a benzo taper more complicated, or perhaps im just using that as another excuse to delay getting cracking on it. Plus alcohol is also meant to increase anxiety on the following day, cant say ive really noticed that, but if i drink dayly it could stop my SNRIs from working.

Modafinil is a mild stimulant/alertness drug, it also lifts mood and increases feelings of confidence and sociabilty. Its nothing earth shattering by any means. I think that when i next get a job interview that i might take half a modafinil instead of half an etiz, i think that would be a much better recipe for success, allthough ideally i would just prepare very well and not take anything at all. 8(

They both work on the GABA receptors in the brain. If your alcohol intake is going up as your benzo intake is going down you're not actually doing any reducing you're just masturbating them with a different chemical.

a beers & benzos combo here I come Just got 30 white 1mg diclaz home.

Alcohol do make anxiety worse indeed MDB, in the long run that is, I know it all too well. I need my beers to take the worst off my anxiety, but it only makes it worse all in all really.

Ahh yeah good point

Cheers for the info... sounds like useful stuff... Yea booze can make people anxious the day after, it does me sometimes if i hammer it. to the extent of waking up still hammered etc, it also does in the long run as well i think. never felt depressed on a booze hangover but felt edgy rebound before
