I dunno man, I did a charity bike ride from Lands End to John o Groats a couple of years ago, in March with the intention of camping the whole way to save money. By the 4th night everything was soaked (in spite of everything being good quality and waterproof - there really is a limit if something has seams and is out in torrential rain all day). We stayed in B&Bs the rest of the time, and covered the 980 odd miles in 13 days. I Love cycling and camping equally and have racked up thousands of miles commuting by bike over the years, but it's not much fun in the winter months.

I would wait until the summer or choose another country to cycle around. It wont take all that long to cycle round the UK. How about Russia ? Not that Im trying to banish you to Siberia or anything.

If this is to go ahead, I propose a thread dedicated entirely to your adventure - "The Adventures of Knock and his Bike". You must travel the country visiting bluelighters, and write of all your experiences daily in the thread. Post lot's of piccies too.

Fuck I wish I had some drugs to do.
Got plenty of diaz,couple of temazepam & 1 mirtazapine but don't think I will even feel them on top of the roid pills.
