For all I know your character assessment could have been -

'Spade comes across friendly and funny, thoughtful and entertaining. The kind of guy you'd really enjoy spending time with and want to have around. He seems willing to pull his weight in life and make a fair contribution. His travels around the world and witnessing the suffering of others have given him a kind of deeper wisdom & selflessness, and made him a well rounded and balanced guy. He wouldn't even know how to be arrogant or obnoxious, spoilt or selfish. He treats all he comes across with respect and dignity, and its clear his pleasure comes second to consideration for those around him. He's got a kind word for everyone, and a great sense of humour, he generally comes across a proper good bloke'.

I know spade doesn't like me. I'm happy with spade not liking me. spade not liking me isn't an issue. given WHO spade is, it's not relevant what he thinks of me. he's a lonely joke poster. I feel sorry for spade in truth.

yup. I got bored and fucked off before then. although I think some of the resulting ED entries that resulted (on scientology) fucking OWN in terms of actual research and quality content wise.

A buddy of mine was pretty involved with all that though. Quality reading.

Hahaha, I got my now wife to write me a reference for a job years ago...."MM is one of nature's gentlemen" were her final words, and i think these apply equally to Spade.

(I like Spade, I don't see why anyone has a problem, he's taking the piss most the time, I hope)

I have most of what was posted on /b/ for years up to the point the scientology stuff started archived on hd's. I daren't look at it actually. Probably should wipe the disks before I get locked up.

YPDH, it's not entirely serious. I do it for entertainment, and I'm pretty sure Spade & Marmz do too. I know it's not everyones cup of tea so I'll stop my part in it now (until the next time Spade comments on my moobs ;))
 
My arm is getting sore from hitting ctrl-r every 30 seconds to keep up with this bloody thread.
 
It is nicer when it's all chilled and not so hostile, even if it's all in jest, it's better when it's chill.

Think I'm gonna have an early night tonight, about 11 I reckon, has been a while since I went to bed before midnight.

If you use firefox, you can get a plugin that autorefreshes at an interval that you choose, no risk of arm injury there!
