I don't really know what 'glass grade' means - but a lot of aussie meth is recrystalised after being cut with MSM or some such.
And i havent used meth in a long time, but round here i dont think the price has ever been much less that $50 AUD a point.
All drugs are stupidly expensive on this continent - including cigarettes and alcohol.

I think it is particularly bad on the West Coast where i am, price-wise (isolation and all that). Never really understood why some people will pay $700 for a gram of meth, but it does happen. Lunacy, if you ask me.
Glad those daze are behind me. Never was a huge stim fan really - but ive had my phases.

I prefer the occasional dexaphetamine dalliance, when i do take uppers. Pharm-grade clean, accurate dosage per pill, and relatively plentiful over here.
Prefer a bit of Quadrophenia-style pill-popping to shredding my sinuses (or worse) with dirty street meth, these days.

On the other hand, while I was looking I was reminded that the 2C's are a thing, and from what I recall reading they hit that same sort of "trippier E" space. So I started looking up a bit more, and I couldn't immediately find a solid answer on what the specific effects of SSRIs on 2C-* (and 2C-B in particular) in the FAQ thread. So I figured I would ask about it first before I go trawling erowid reports. So my question to you guys is, what is the effect of SSRIs on 2C's, and given that it's negative is it a "take a bit more" negative like LSD and co are supposed to be, or a "don't even bother" negative like MDMA is held to be?

Update: Well I checked erowid, literally 0 accounts on the interaction between SSRIs and 2C-B. That's almost enough to make me say damn the torpedoes we're doing this for science and go place an order so I can fill this rather major hole (IMO) in recreational-pharmaceutical interactions. 1 datum is not enough of course, but it's infinitely better than 0.

Don't even bother. Exactly the same reasons as MDMA - blocking reuptake makes massive release impossible.
You'd still get all that wonderful adrenergic edginess and inherent cardiotoxicity though.
If your SERT is shagged then entactogenic psychedelics are a very expensive waste.

The temptation is soundly not present. Might give 2C-B a go as my next clubbing drug once the SSRIs have cleared off though, it certainly sounds like it could be what I want. Given it acts as a receptor ligand and not/not just a serotonin releasing agent, would it be expected to not need as long between doses as MDMA does? Or am I misreading/reading the wrong things and 2C-B is a significant SRA as well as receptor ligand?

Sworn off rc benzos but im going through so much stress i bought 100mg diclaz powder. Ordered some pg off the internet but couldnt be arsed to wait. Anyway i read online that diclaz is perfectly soluble in 90% surgical spirit (ethanol not IPA). Anyway having precoiusly been scripted benzos for 20 years until last year i still have a bit of a tollerance. Suffice to say to get the required dose involved drinkiing nearly a half bottle of surgical spirit.....even with a mixer....its not pleasant.....not pleasant at all

Is it not soluble in propylene glycol?

You uk RC fiends have been sorta spoilt (or cursed) to have pressed benzo pellets/pills from domestic vendors.
The rest of us had to dissolve in PG and dose volumetrically.
...which, to be honest, i preferred anyway. I never trusted that those vendor-pressed tabs could be safe or consistent doses, not that i ever bought any.

When i was using flubromazolam (which i'm not proud to admit) i discovered that some of those small flavouring bottles (used in baking cakes and so on - not all flavours, so check ingredients) have a high % of propylene glycol, so i ended up dissolving that dementia powder in little bottles of orange and lemon flavouring.
For a few months i had citrus-fresh breath, an unstrady gait and absolutely no dignity.
Tasted better than surgical spirit though. Yeesh.

Can you evaporate that shit off as one would, say a vial of ketamine?

Yeah, i can relate to that.
Maybe try to track down some of the "orange essence" or whatever artificial flavourings they might have at the supermarket?
Cheap, and the ones i used were mainly PG, alcohol and colouring/flavouring.
I dont imagine cooking off surgical spirits would be too much trouble in a 'double broiler' type set-up...

Just make sure you have good airflow and preferably no exposed flame when trying to boil off alcohol. I don't recall offhand if alcohol fumes are particularly dense, but they are definitely flammable. Your best bet would be natural evap in a shallow layer I'd say, though the exact logistics would require a bit of work.

One of my eyes was looking super bloodshot and feeling kinda achey just now, so I hit it with some eyedrops and hopefully that'll clear it up. The carpet also started sparkling earlier, which I am blaming on sleep dep and weed. Haven't had any drugs other than weed for about 14 hours now, and no stims for 15 and a half. Still unsure why I am awake and not feeling particularly tired, at least in a physical sense. Mentally I am sliding off towards the deep end shedding bits of my sanity as I go, but W/E I've got games to play in a few hours, so awakeness it is. I'll probably have a cup of tea come raid time, unless I can skip out and go get food and sleep instead.

I understand mate, Don't think I have singled you out btw, I would've said it to anyone, that high % of booze with benzos, and the fact you had to neck a lot of it, just a recipe for disaster in my opinion, But I totally get your reasoning and really hope your situation improves

And you might be right about naked flames with ethanol - an electric stovetop element would maybe be safer than gas - but i used to make hash oil with isopropyl all the time, and cook off the excess liquid that way; never had a problem.
Just used a pyrex dish on a big pot of boiling water, didnt take too long.

Not sure if the flammability of ethanol fumes is much different to iso?
I used a big pot anyway, so the pyrex dish was a good 25-30cm away from the flame.

If I was gonna go fiending I'd start with the mostly full baggie in my stash : P It's just the standard "you've been up too long" visual weirdness, except this time it was sparkling carpet instead of spontaneous sacred geometry colours on the walls.

Depending on the density of alcohol vapour if it just floats off it should be fairly safe, especially with good airflow or an extractor fan going. Google tells me it's mildly denser than air, but I would guess it's not like NO2 or petrol where you get real dense huggy fumes. Still, it's not worth gambling on if you can avoid it, and besides, if your drug solution catches fire it might ruin the dose too, and that'd be a waste of good drugs. And it's not even like for weed products where you can just decide you were hotboxing if the hash oil catches fire : P
