I agree Shambles, It doesnt have to be a relationship but familiarity does allow you to be more adventurous, more yourself. Well for me anyway.

I was exactly the same with my ex-fiance and oddly enough that was what kept the magic and lust going strong for the five years we were joined at the hip (or indeed the groin) for. Intimacy is sexy as hell for me - far more so than novelty. This is why generalisations tend to be general ;)

I guess it COULD cost more - IF you took them out and wined and dined them - for me, if it's just sex you're after, it's a simple case of go for a pint then "back to mine for a film??" - that's a pretty wellknown phrase these days.

I personally wouldn't feel right about sleeping with a prostitute if I was wanting to get back in the swing of things - I don't think it would boost my confidence, like actually going out and meeting someone, then fucking them would.

Not really saying there's anything wrong with getting a prostitute - it's a profession that's been around for AGES - just saying it seems a very expensive way to go about getting back in game mode.

he actually wasnt old at all. he was extremley fit, ripped with a six pack and was very good looking, i remember the moment well, even though it must of been nearly 20 years ago now, because if hed chatted me up and just wanted sex at the end of the night i would jumped at the chance
 
I wrote a really big response to this last night but decided not to post it, I really wish I had now! But I can safely attest after having very good sex with girlfriends that you can also have very good sex with hookers who can then buy shoes and sex with hookers who can then buy crack/smack!

I have found maybe 1 in 10 hookers really didn't want to be there and was most likely forced and probably 50% were cash hungry and 20% were nymphomaniacs who also love cash!
