GBL Megathread 4: End of an Era?

I have no idea why that is. Found my sweet spot again thing it's between 1.75-2ml atm, last a couple of hours of pure bliss. How often do you dose bignbrown?

Hmmm, I used to dose that often too and it started loosing the nice feeling. Maybe try give it a break and regain that special feeling from it. I know it's hard, only way I took a break was when I ran out.

Got a 500ml bottle now, hope I've got a bit more self control this time. :\

Anything over a few days of use used to lead to unpleasant effects, and withdrawals between doses, after going through so many evil withdrawals. You need a break, and no more than a day or two of use between breaks. It just turns shit on you in the end. Your brain learns not to tolerate G abuse.
 
been dosing 2.2ml every couple of hours now 24/7 for 5 days. feels weird to have a cup of coffee now that does not taste of paint stripper. i wake up every 3-4 hours at night and have to redose as well to get back to sleep. my mrs is threatening to flush it so i've stashed 100ml away in the garage ;)

I tried to stop using it today but i can't be arsed going through withdrawals, rode my motorbike home from worked today completely fucked on it. VERY stupid - i was putting mine and other road users at risk. wobbling all over the show.. silly twat i am. won't be doing that again.
 
I don't see the addiction potential with it really. I don't mind the hit off it but it's nothing special tbh. I've been doing it on and off out of 100ml bottle for a week and never really gone mad on it yet.

Substitute it with some stims and I'd be on it til the bag is done and I'm coming down like a lead balloon. :\

this stuff to me is more addictive than smack, probably because i treat it with much less respect. I could say the same thing about mephedrone/ketamine how the fuck do people get addicted to that i don't know. but different strokes for different folks n all that.
 
question about mixing with stims - is it better to take it at the same time, or wait till one comes up on stims and then do gbl? and also, if I do one or two doses gbl and then continue taking more stimulants, will they still work (due to dopamin rebound)? thks.
 
Its pretty hard to get addicted to GBL imo, allways take it daily every evening, offcourse it causes a horrible addiction if you dose 24/7 but its not too hard to just wait untill its evening and then relax on some G.

Hi Yani,
Personally I dont think it matters either way. IME its better to start with the GBL then move on to the stims and just continue to top up your GB through the night.

This dopamine rebound is bullshit imo, i think bilzor from the advanced forum said that once, and it also doesnt make any sense to me, G releases dopamine and once it wears off you just feel a bit more sedated.

I'm starting to see more potential in the GBL. Was in a foul mood earlier, had a big argument with someone then a load of hassle doing stuff in town. Came home dosed 1.5ml of GBL... had some tunes blasting and ended up belting them out lying spangled on my bed :D

Did some more tonight. I think when you find the right dosage it's actually a pretty decent drug. Still haven't been using too often so no bad effects, so far ;)

The only problem using it to perk up your mood when down is that if you start abusing it your emotions will be OTT while on it...
 
We aren't allowed to discuss making GHB, so talking about water is talking about making ghb.

6 months since I took any GBL.

I really, really don't miss the waking up after 4 hours and redosing every night part. But I really do miss the removal of urges to drink alcohol.

Keep it to evening use m'dear and take breaks. When you start to go into middle of the night doses or day doses you dabble with the wrong thing. Geebie doesnt lose its magic when treated with respect. Problem is with Geebie it seems too easy for people to take it for granted. I would recommend the Gbl withdrawl thread for educational reading. A smart man learns from his mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. People post there not only to get some support but to also warn others of the pitfalls. Read it beginning to end.

Looked it up. Thats not the exact quote but the quote itself is much more stupid. "A wise man learns by the mistakes of others,
a fool by his own." To me a fool is one that doesnt even learn from his own mistakes. It happens though. I'm not free of that one myself.
