GBL Megathread 4: End of an Era?

I stocked up a bit before the UK ban and made that last until last month. A new source appeared right before this and I've gone through that supply (with the help of a few friends) way too quickly! Need a break for sure.
 
Can someone tell me is this the GBL your on about...?

It's from *snip* also does anyone here have any links to coverting GBL to GHB and what other materials are needed and best practices.

Hi Wrams, welcome to Bluelight and EADD.

Please read the rules regarding sources in the EADD Guidelines found in my signature, I've just removed the references to the brand and company you used as Bluelight is here to discuss the effects of drugs not help you buy them/review the seller etc.
 
^ Yes they are and converting GBL to GBH comes under that so can't be discussed on BL.

The effects and such can be though and finally got a taste of GHB cos somebody else made it which suits my lack of arsedness to get around to doing such things. Need to fiddle about more with dosage to get it spot on but can see why some prefer its more subtle and longer action. Not sure it's better than GBL as such - maybe more like comparing spirits with beer so a hourse/course scenario. Liking that you can use it in mixed drinks to sip at and build up which is not so easy with GBL. Tis much more of a difference (and a good one at that) than I expected and liking it more than I thought. GBL hits the spot every time so is great, GHB is the evil kiddy-fiddlers choice cos much more simple to use... and easier to spot 8)
 
Why couldn't you make GBL mixed drinks? We make G-mosas all the time! (G, orange juice and sprite rather than champagne)
 
Yeah - I've perfected the GeeBee-la Sunrise; dose of GBL instead of tequila, mixed in with Orange juice, and then some Grenadine syrup. =)

Have yet to try GBH but I've got a partner who is very sensitive to GBL (0.7ml she barely feels it, 1.0ml and she's fast asleep!) and I'm wondering if GBH might be a bit more forgiving with doseages in this respect.
 
Wouldn't mind having a bash of GHB. Tried GBL a few times and works wonder with speed or mephedrone. Wasn't great on it's own. Far preffer booze really.

Can very much see how it would be addicted if you had alot laying around though. I only every bought 100ml and was very careful after reading the addiction thread on here.
 
Hi Kate. Full stomach might help, but it's the impromptu 'let's have a geebee' moments that are the most fun. We've just had to learn to be very careful with dosages, that's all. :)

Clearly you've not tried GBL in combination with a special lady friend. That is the discerning gentleman's preferred combo.

I know that GBL varies enormously. Some people can't handle 1ml, others report needing up to 3 mls before they feel anything!!!

I compare the feeling as a bit like being pleasantly merry on booze, but without the stupidity or the hangover. Sociable and happy, with a tendency to nod off if you overdo it.

Keep trying til you find your sweet spot. And then when you do, take great care not to get hooked. As addictive as alcohol but without the toxic comedown/hangover that serves to stop most people drinking booze 24/7. It's far to easy to overuse - see the GBL Addiction thread for the heads-up on this!

GBL,first dose i took was 1.5 ml and it just knocked me out.However, after i perservered the euphoric effects took hold after about three days and man,did i ever fall in love,pure happy bliss,absolutely perfect for every occasion.
 
I've had a 7 month break and having a very small first dose at 1.25ml to see how things go, then going to kick back in bed with my girlfriend and... watch a film. ;)
 
never had this effect from gbl, and im an on and off addict, basicly when i dose gbl (admitedly my reg dose has gone up from 1.5ml to 2.2 thoughout the year), i get an intense restless feeling in my arms and legs, which is stopped me from getting any sleep on it, i also twitch alot and get random jolts and its ruining G for me as i keep getting them in front of family. It seems to be giving me mild withdrawal symptoms when i take it, and has only just started happening but the only problem is i cant stop it atm as im getting bad withdrawal symptoms. I cant take it as gbl wears off after 20 minutes and leaves me feeling like hell

any suggestions as to what it is?
