GBL Megathread: 3ml and Wobbling

Convert your GBL. It is much less harsh when it finally runs out.

I was introduced to GHB before GBL. I only tried GBL once I had moved back to the UK from Amsterdam, where GHB is favoured. GHB is far superior. Not as harsh and a nicer smoother high.

I find when a dose of GBL wears off I find my mood drops dramatically, and I find myself reaching for another dose. This is why GBL can be more fiendish.

When a dose of GHB wears off the decline is gradual, I don't notice as much of a sudden mood drop and I don't find myself reaching to re-dose.

I only use GBL or GHB recreationally and never 24/7 it for more than a day. I also manage to get full nights sleep after dosing all day, which seems to help. I make sure I don't fall into a repetitive dosing trap.

In what way is it less harsh?Less depression?Less anxiety?Shorter lasting withdrawals?
Which version?Sodium looks easy but at the rate I take it I'd have a heart attack from excess sodium.But the postassium one looks like I'd manage to fuck it up.

Oh well I've got over a week before I get any so I can mull it over and hopefully by then my brain will be mostly recovered anyway.
 
It comes on slower, it doesn't twat your receptors anywhere near as much, and the withdrawals are much less severe. If you are doing GHB for a few days and then stopping, I can't see a problem, as long you drink water, and keep your kidneys working. All I can say is convert it, and see for yourself. GBL is like the crack of GHB.
 
I think I've decided to give up GBL, or at least not touch it again for a year or two. I'm sticking to au du naturale (i.e. Mary Jane :D)
 
Does anyone know how long does GBL last for before it begins to lose its potency, if you keep it in its original bottle? (i.e. the one it was delivered in). Thanks

The move will make BZP - also known as herbal ecstasy - and industrial solvent GBL, sold as a "legal high", illegal.

The parents of Hester Stewart, 21, who died after taking GBL in Brighton last month, wrote to Home Secretary Jacqui Smith asking her to change the law.

Last night was strange. I was laying in bed with my girlfriend and we were about to go to sleep, but she started tickling me for some reason just playing around but while she was doing it I kept becoming completely paralyzed. I could see and hear but I was unable to move I couldn't even tell her to stop as I was unable to operate my mouth -- It was horribe, sorta scary also, but i've got previous experience of something similar when I used to do too much MDMA so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Is GBL induced paralysis common?
 
Yes. I used to get it at least once a night. I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't really even tickling you. Sleep paralysis is extremely common on GBL.

I used to get sleep paralysis in 2000 when I was taking a couple of pills a fortnight, but then it calmed down.Fuck knows what would have happened if I had been taking 10 pills a week.
I don't get full sleep paralysis on GBL if I lie down and sleep as normal.
There were 2 times since Christmas when I was sitting on my bed listening to the radio and my eyes shut but my ears were totally aware.However my body was totally paralysed.But I didn't feel the absolute terror that someone else was in the room and were going to do something hideous to me whilst I couldn't move.Nor did I fear that I would stop breathing. But both times I was convinced that my right hand could move and spent half an hour moving my hand to the radio to turn it down,but when I finally could move my eyes and body the volume was the same and my right hand was dead to the world anyway.
 
^Sounds exactly like what I've had. I've done it a million times, where I believe I've moved my hand, or even stood up, and then when I've opened my eyes, I've been in the exact same place.
 
Is gbl known for producing vivid dreams? I've been having really weird and graphic dreams lately which seem to come about after a gbl binge. Last night it was me and Lilly Allen...its just getting too weird.

i have the worst hangovers right now and i was thinking about taking a little gbl to smooth things out and make the world and everything in it less horrific. i had my last beer, out of A LOT 8 hours ago. i also did some amphetamine last nite
would this be safe to do?
 
I don't know why you have waited so long, gbl is the best for a hang over / comedown, would rival most benzos in my opinion.
 
Just be cautious if there's still alcohol in your system though, as it could hit you harder than you epect. Even a unit or two could make a difference, and might still be knockin' about if you were really hitting the booze whilst on the speed.

Yeah, I find G a pretty excellent solver of various ouches and groany states. I've gone off drinking it though, and I am not brave enough to make downstairs sparkle. Fucking scary though! :p

Anyone know when it'll actually be not sold any more?
