i'm saying the problem is not "why aren't white people writing about other kinds of people", the problem is why aren't POC encouraged to become writers or television directors etc etc.
don't demand others to.
don't whine about how white people aren't writing enough POC characters, talk about the institutional issues that are alienating POC from pursuing careers in the arts.
and i'm also saying that there's more to feeling represented in something than the color of your skin, that's really superficial to assume that i relate to these characters more than you because we have similar skin tones when the actors are not of the same heritage, culture, background, ancestors, or region as me.
and quit acting like everyone whose fair skinned is in this fancy club and all like have a ball together and are all the same cookie cutter "white" person when there's infinite races, cultures, ethnicities, regions, countries, etc that make up "whiteness". it's not just WHITE.
i swear POC act like we're all racist but they're usually the one's only seeing color IMO.
