GOD DAMNIT SPRING 2012, I'm sick of this, NOW, me want NOW

Yeah, i know right.. this show has a magnetic appeal about it, pulls me in so far.. i dont want to wait! I was hoping the finale would be longer then a standard episode.. lol

i just finished book four, and have lots of questions:

NSFW:
does victorion greyjoy become daenerys third betrayer or the maester that is sent to her?
what the fuck is prince dorian's problem? his daughter was maybe a bit impatient with the crown Myrcella now thing, but she had the right idea.
i know Arya is blind, but maybe when she's no one she can see again? idk.
does anyone want to talk about Brienne's word or what. I doubt it's anything important at all. What could it be? Nothing that she would say would change anything. My guess? Eyrie.
high five to Littlefinger for making such a great wedding match for Sansa. It would unite the North again and totally crush whatever nonsense is going on down south with Jaime and what not, and perhaps would even drag the Cat out of the Canals back to Winterfell. Sansa is a lot more tolerable as Alyane, and dare I say, even wising up? getting smarter? Littlefinger's kisses revolt me though. Also, why hasn't Stoneheart gone to the Vale to see Littlefinger? Didn't he love her, at one point?

i was totally disappointed with this book and felt like maybe i could skip it.

Quibbles about the alignment chart:

So Ned, Varys, Tyrion are pretty good examples of the alignments. But...

(Written series spoiler)

NSFW:
Littlefinger only holds the law when it's convenient. He'll break it if it benefits his goals, and not fret a damn. He's neutral evil. So is Frey. Jamie and Cersei are a poor choice, IMO, since both slide to other alignments later on in the series. (Actually, about half that series is neutral evil. ;))

Arya and Danny I'd have to think about more.

I'd put Viserys as chaotic evil. Easily. Maybe late-Cersei could be. The Mountain that Rides is as well. Oh, and the bloody mummers. Hell, this is another popular alignment, but it tends to end up poorly for the characters.

I can't think of a good lawful evil character in the book. Perhaps the faceless men? Maybe someone on the Iron Islands?

i am on a Game Of Thrones Season One Extravaganza! I've watched 1-4 and am about to watch 5 and 6.

I like the show. the production quality and acting are high-level stuff. But, up until episode 4 i really wasn't all that captivated. i'm starting to get there though.

^ I think you mean spring?

Going to watch it again with friends making it into a drinking game (according to the facebook page). Can't wait :)

(episode 10 tv massive spoiler picture):

Just a nice pic from this episode -

From memory her hair was burnt off in the books though? :)

(TV Ep10)
NSFW:
I didn't know which asset she was going to use to command power, the dragon hatchings or those beautiful breasts. I know which one would win me over! Dragons...

Now will she sail over the sea or ride on the back of a dragon, that's my next question.

do you think we'll move into a storm of swords for next season?

EW -- I agree with what you said about the charts, but I think Arya is in the right spot. Chaotic good is a bit more, eh, Batman, is it not? I know a lot about Dany, but Batman she is not. Or maybe she is.

I don't see Dany as "good". I don't see her as "evil" either.

She has empathy, but I can't recall a time in the books where she let her empathy get in the way of doing what she thought was best for herself.

Empathy does kind of make her good relevant to her surroundings. She is anti-rape, pro justice and she just wants to go back and claim what is rightfully hers. It's not really wrong. If I was born with dragons blood I'd fucking demand to be king.

Of course I am talking from the perspective of the TV show (which the poster is based on), and not accounting for upcoming events.

NSFW:
Yep, but Dany should know that her father was a mad king. Him being overthrown is more or less understandable. She doesn't seem to be able to admit this to herself.

who is going to tell her? Viserys sure as fuck wouldn't. why would Illeryo say anything bad? Jorah wants to bed her, he won't say anything. No one seems to be around to tell her shit. I guess she could have read it in the books Jorah gave her, but I'm sure the notion that her father was king king = good, king overthrown = bad is so firmly planted in her head that there is no getting it out now. although perhaps -- she did know Viserys wasn't a good person, and wouldn't have made a good king, so perhaps later, as she learns more about ruling, her mind will change.

Yes, I did mean Spring :D
Keni- Is that book two?

yes :D

That's very Batman of her, yeah?

regarding her empathy and anti rape..

she's no less cunning than anyone else. she's anti _______ when she thinks it will strengthen the people and loyalty behind her.

(TV show ep 10)
NSFW:
I'd argue that by being anti ____ she actually nearly divided the clan, killed her precious drogo and nearly got herself killed and raped as well. Everyone was pissed off with her and sick of her leading. I think she did it for good and not at all for the clan, or any alterior motive..
