"Free" water at festivals

(dismisses this thread; but makes a conscious decision to only buy bottled water at festivals in the future)

I really hope this turns out to be a bizarre guerrilla marketing campaign by bottled water manufacturers.

A boy can dream.

So when is the secret elixa going to be made available to the doctors at Accident and Emergency? Those poor bastards just have to sit it out at 2am for now I guess.....

The police arent giving more drugs to a crowd of people who are are already on drugs to begin with. Someone put GHB in your water and kept an eye on you till you passed out so he can take you home and cornhole you. Dumbass.

Glad I have a good supply of popcorn.........this thread is fuckibg hilarious!!!!

Those of you who feel a come up then just feel scat suffer from severe anxiety, u panic at the thought of being sick on the cone up as some people can't handle it and don't allow it to hit you because of this anxiety. I suffered from it for a while til I overcame it.

The rest just make me laugh!!!! Your pills are shit. That's all.

@OP:

People would make a shitload of money suing the police if they were drugging people.

More likely you either got weak MDMA, it wasn't MDMA at all, or you are an incomplete or rapid metabolizer of MDMA... which would mean your CYP2D6 genes are incomplete or there are more copies than the average person.

My CYP2D6 is incomplete so when I do MDMA I only get a bit high, but then it's gone in about 45 minutes. Then I get all the lovely after effects like having no energy.

Wow, what a thread. I suppose the worst thing about all of this is that it's "free water!", I remember paying upwards of $5 for a bottle of water during summer festivals thinking that it couldn't be legal to charge so much.

Wow this is special.

Silveren did you know that you excrete 80% of MDMA unchanged in your urine? Just an idea for next time they only have sober-water at the mental home. Let us know how it goes.

Sounds like something the guy who's on his third day of being awake on meth would say.
Interesting though, it does sound plausible.

jeeez.. its lets hate on meth week is it?.. 'we aren't all complete mongoloids that the drug makes us out to be... errr.. time for a lie down.. or at least a sandwhich.. lol

I hate those preachy HugsNotDrugs and RaveSafe people. I have a friend who always shit stirs them, winds them up about how he took this coloured panadol someone offered him and now he feels weird, that kinda shit. I think that takes it too far, they're trying to help people, but to me they come across in the same way as anti smoking protestors and that breed of annoying.

Bit harsh there, I personally know many, many RaveSafe crew (I've even volunteered myself) and the vast majority, if not all of them, are seasoned ravers, drug takers, festival goers and partiers themselves, with a helluva lot more experience with using drugs and raves in general than most of the people at the festival. Also, I've never seen anyone from a RaveSafe crew 'preach' about drugs, the only things they'll 'preach' is harm reduction. So if someone comes in, slipping in and out of consciousness they have to refer them to the medics, but usually it's just stuff like 'probably not a good idea to mix those 6 things together man' or 'make sure you drink enough water, but not too much'. Basic harm reduction. That's what it's about. And in regards to the water - It's usually just big plastic kegs (like the ones you see Gatorade in at sporting events), bags of ice like the ones you get from the servo and a tap out the back. No spiking going on there at all.

I can't even imagine what anyone could be sneaking into water to kill an MDxx high anyway, plus you've got all the variable like polydrug use, dosage, tolerance, interactions with any medications, sensitivities, people not actually being on MD-anything, etc. Doesn't sound like a realistic story to me. Just doesn't make sense.

SSRI's could be the culprit. Goverment with it's friend BigPharma would have plenty of stocks.

:D

I can understand the OP's initial perplexion (did I just make that word up?) at the water story. Once on a high dose of MDMA I fell into a paranoid state and was convinced the police were all around taking photos of everyone and that 90% of the people there were underaged so their parents were massing behind a hill ready to rush the rave and attack everyone. This is on nothing but MDMA, and not up for the week beforehand on meth. I lost a fair bit of the night and didn't feel particularly dancey for ages after the initial rush, just bewildered and worried.

I also highly doubt that the police/event organisers are putting anything in the water to reduce the effects of MDMA. Imagine how dangerous this would be - mass dosing of people with unknown medical conditions. That said, if I was selling crap pills I'd peddle a story like "it's the water, man that's why it didn't last" too. :)
