I'm an ex-meth addict. 5 months clean and I still deal with the after-effects.
And no, you don't need to use meth every single day before you consider yourself addicted. I never did.
And no, you don't need to sell all your possessions in order to get meth before you consider yourself addicted. I never did.
And no, you don't have to lose your job, all your friends, your entire life because of meth before you consider yourself addicted. I never did.
Meth addiction is a funny thing. Maybe you can 'control' it, regulate your use, continue to function in day to day life.
PhreeX is entitled to his opinion, of course, he kicked his meth addiction, and his heroin addiction, didn't he? How admirable, to take one addiction and trade it in for the next. The ultimate 'functional' addict.
You don't really know what addiction is
until you actually attempt to quit the shit. ALL of it. And then STAY clean. Forever.
Just my opinion.
