The guy who played Lawrence....man, that was possibly the worst acting I have ever seen from a lead actor. The guy who played Adam was pretty bad at points also, but then you kind of find out why he's so wooden at some stage, which makes up for it.
Also, I don't know that the fast-forward flashback scenes worked so much most of the time they were used...it seemed too gimmicky most of the time and detracted from the terror more than it added.
On the plus side though, I really did enjoy this film. The last ten-fifteen minutes in particular had me on the edge of my seat, and I would
never have predicted the massive twist we got (though it makes sense in retrospect).
One of the things I
really liked was that it was visually stimulating; the two main characters are pretty much chained to pipes in an isolated room for most of the film...with different camera angles, different ways of viewing them etc, the movie still totally maintained my attention despite that.
So in closing...I really liked this, I would definitely see it again. It's just a shame about the acting...
