Film: "Garden State"
I just went and saw this movie tonight. I thought it was really great. i'm not a huge film fan, and usually don't enjoy spending money on films in the theater, but I would pay to see this movie again.
It was sad, yet very funny. There were times in the film where I teared up and laughed at the same time. Portman was great, and I loved her character. The guy from "Scrubs" (Zach Braf..or something) was also really good. This was the first film he directed, and I thought he did a great job (despite a few scenes that were a bit forced).
I highly recommend the movie, especially if you are feeling down. The movie left a smile on my face and made me forget about my problems (even after the movie was over for a bit).
Anyone else see this?
