i was a little disappointed with this film. maybe i was expecting too much??

Fuck this movie. I saw 10 minuts of it the other day cuz my sister rented it and it wasnt like new jersey at all . fuck that. How you gonna call i garden state and it aint even nohin like the state its supposed to be. It looked boring as hell too. i just walked up n left.

Im sorry, but if youre gonna make a movie titled after a state, youre gonna catch shit for it not bein realistic. I dont give a fuck if it was a oscar grade performance. That shit is wack. Not only that , but the movie was fuckin shitty. The dialog was completely fake and staged sounding, the shit had the feeling of bein totally forced, and it was super cheesy, OMG, Im 20 something, my life is changing, boohoo, im a existentialist , etc. Im sorry if you think that is unintelligent or like I just cant appreciate a good movie, but thats how i feel about it so aint no need for fuckin rollin-eyeball smilies and condescending comments. Shit man Im just sayin my thoughts on it, and since people on here always get to bitch about how a movie was unrealistic I dont understand how its any less valid just cuz its comin from me. Shit you can have a drug movie with totally un factual shit in it, and people are gonna call you out on it. Make a movie about boxing, about dancing, about what the fuck ever, if you aint realistic, and true to life, people are gonna notice that shit. So, Im just sayin. They shoulda called it "DramaComedy For Pretentious College Students" or some shit, But dont fuckin speak the name of my state as your whole pretense of the movie, and then expect me to not have some shit to say about it.

I watched this today. I was actually about to get up and go do something better about fifteen minutes into the film when I got interrupted by a phone call. Twenty minutes later, I ended up sitting through the remainder. I didn't laugh or cry, but I did smile quite a few times at the type of humour typically found in Zach's daytime job, Scrubs.

Out of five, I would have given this a weak three stars. Out of four, I'm giving it a strongish two.
