Dissapointing both story line and 3D / effects. I didn't totally hate it but wouldn't really reccomend it either, bit boring.

^^ I'd say that sums up what i was gonna say.

1st 3d movie ever, and i guess my expectations were a bit high

glad i saw it but not too terribly impressed

i just hope when this goes to DVD that Disney will release the original AiW

I really enjoyed the film. I felt the story held true to the previous animation. Besides, it was total eye candy. I didn't necessarily dig the final scenes but outside of that it was enjoyable.

Really loved this film in HD 3D . . . we sat way in the back. At the end, a butterfly flew right in front of us, thought we could grab it! :)

There was also social & political meaning in the film, like the mean Queen of Hearts with a big-head, running a war machine with everyone in fear. The costumes, animation, makeup, cinematography and acting was fantastic, better than Avitar.

Seeing the film made me feel better to be "mad," like the Hatter & Alice too.

Gave it four stars but it was more a 4.5. Highly recommend U see it high. :)

Could only stand the first 54 minutes of it. The characters simply are too dryly acted. As much as I like the eye-candy of this film, the delivery falls flat. I think that the mixture of Tim Burton's gothic flair with flaky psychedelic sets in a Disney setting just doesn't work imo.

I fucking hated this film. Probably my least favorite Burton film and I hate quite a lot of his films with a passion. An absolute massacre of a classic story. A misguided, egotistical train-wreck of a film. Burton is one of the most arrogant people working in the industry. I'm sure he thinks all of his re-makes are genius, that simply by applying his repetitive, one-dimensional style-stamp to everything that it instantly becomes a masterpeice.

The stupid thing is Burton is actually a great storyteller. If he just bothered to write a fucking screenplay that wasn't just another fucking over the top rehash of a classic film, then maybe I'd watch another one of his films. Another fucking Beetlejuice or Edward Scissorhands, not Tim Burton's Pinnochio or whatever bullshit he has planned next.

The red queen's head was fucking stupid. It looked fake. It wasn't funny.

I want to re-animate Lewis Carroll so he can kill Tim Burton.

Zero stars.
