Trump threatened Canada about two weeks ago to stop flow of fentanyl into the US or some shit. No there will not be a reversion to heroin especially considering the Taliban is back in control in Afghanistan. Some production was picked up elsewhere, but the reason nitazenes are increasing in popularity globally is because the distributors are favoring the easier to smuggle compounds. These are more toxic than fentanyl. There will be no return to heroin unless you make it yourself at home. Best to just quit while you are ahead, but take your time and do it when you are ready.

Also, the reduced flow of fentanyl is more likely to do with El Chapo being out of the picture and production falling, and as you said increased scrutiny by US government. So, somewhat right in your thinking. Its all connected in some way especially these days.

It really is to each their own. I personally can’t stand uppers, they make me sick.
There are different types of fent, it’s not just like it’s all fentanyl. There are mixes with different effects. I used fent mostly because the H in my area became unstable and it also may very well have been because I’m not functional naturally and opiates help my ability to function. So I think I’m an oddity because I never nod and I don’t get a sleepy high, if I smoke fent or bang heroin I get very productive.

I may use heroin at some point, but you could throw a key of fent at me and I’d walk away from it. but my point is some may get benefits to their mental health or physical well-being, like I did.

I used to get that energetic and functionality improvement from Oxys and H but fetty i would often lose control or black out and forget what I’m doing. Or if that batch is too strong maybe I’d drop in one of the stalls. Or you get the other direction sometimes where the shits been stomped 10 times before I get it and I’m still sick after banging a half gram. I hated fent

In Miami area and same here. Gray powder fent no heroin and little euphoria too. Gives me a nice mellow buzz for ~30 minutes then I feel sedated for hours and that’s it. Only small doses bc low tolerance and this shit is easy af to OD on I hear. Not worth the hype

I think methadone is one of the least euphoric opioids I’ve ever done. Good analgesia though.

I would say fentanyl is more recreational than methadone. Even bupe has better euphoria than methadone imo.

But I know others here have posted that they think methadone is euphoric, not me though.

Another example of YMMV.
For me, methadone is second only to oxycodone for euphoria. Hydrocodone comes in third. I don't find Dilaudid particularly euphoric, though I know that many people do. I prefer Demerol. Fentanyl would be my last choice for euphoria, although it's excellent for relief of physical pain.

(edit) Oh, and buprenorphine? I don't like it. It does provide some euphoric effects, but it feels "dirty" to me. Also, it's the only opioid that gives me anxiety. Weird, I know.

Dilauded is the best opioid of all for me (if IVed). Best rush and euphoria.

For oral dosing I would say hydrocodone is the most euphoric.

Oxy is alright too but I find it too stimulating and not warm and sedating enough.

Interesting.

I agree that oxy is quite stimulating, but I find all opioids to be somewhat speedy. I can count on one hand the number of times I've "nodded" on opioids-- and in those cases, other drugs were involved.

For me, opioids were work drugs. I always liked to get moving and get shit done. I was extremely productive on opioids.

Oh how I miss the old 100mc gel patches. I would smoke it like crack it was my favorite opiate, well that and straight raw Afghan when I had veins to actually register.

That grey shits all over Chicago's west side it's grey or has a blue tint to it, cooks clear. Like that's been on the streets here for over two years. There is also a white variant so be careful. To be completely honest I feel that the grey you grow a tolerance to completely. I seen people doing the zombie stance and don't even see how they can get that trashed. Euphoria has long since gone unless you find an old head that actually has a real connect with something that doesn't have fent, tranq, or whatever analog their able to get into the country. Pharmaceutical fent like mylan or gel patches imo always had great euphoric effects same with real OC 30/80s. Depending how long you've been in this game it always is a gamble. Most of us are just keeping the sickness at bay. The speedy effects of opiates for me at least were always contained to pharmaceuticals, once pill mills were gone and most people that still get scripts being subjected to drug tests and things of that nature. And you start hitting the streets it took me over a year of heavy suicidal type use to actually form a tolerance to anything on the streets. Keep safe if you can try to keep it recreational. I hate to see other people that feel to far gone or to far gone like I feel about myself to get help. It's a slippery slope.

I don’t even find it particularly useful for pain. Especially given how short acting it is.

This makes me suspect that it’s actually carfentanil or other stronger opioids that’s being sold now. Maybe even nitazenes like over here.
