I always rate Sweet 16 higher than Trainspotting because Sweet 16 really captures the essance of the Scottish junkie scumbag. In Trainspotting they all look more like art students who dabble occasionally.

There's also 'Bully' with Brad Renfro(sp?). True story about these kids in Hollywood Florida, who take a bunch of acid and ride off to the beach and end up killing an abusive friend of theirs, then bad trip time.
