Yup, Jem and the holograms, right? Surprisingly well written show, iirc, it was kind of girly but I watched it because the plots seemed a lot more thought out than most standard kiddie cartoon fare. I recently learned that this has earned it a small cult following online.

To finally see a real life adaptation (and from my memory, a really good one at that), was amazing. Then they had to go and get Vanilla Ice in number 2, and being a huge Vanilla Ice fan (lol 2nd grade), I loved that one too.

Go Ninja Go Ninja Go!!! =D

Anyway, the ones I remember most are really really weird ones that ran on Icelandic TV, not sure where they came from or if anyone else will recognize them, but here goes...

One was about a brother and sister that each had their own bed next to each other, and each episode began with their mum tucking them in.

Once she closed the door, they did something that made their beds fly and transported them to the most sickeningly surreal world I was ever scarred by on early morning weekend television.

I mean this shit has haunted me on trips! It was like a primitive type of computer animation, but then again maybe that was just an effect of the weird animating technique?

There was one enemy in particular that seemed to be some kind of GIANT evil dark entity that breathed and pulsated and grew, a lot of steam was involved, he sort of bounced across the very disturbingly sparse and oddly psychedelic scenery. I most remember the vastness of some of the scenes, you could see like an entire valley of weirdness and this big fucking thing bounding towards them.

Anyway, then there was a live action one which I think may have been Canadian or Australian, and it certainly didn't have good production values. It was some kind of futuristic world, post apocalyptic I think, where this team of high tech warriors were fighting against machine enhanced foes.

Hard to describe, but basically imagine a lot of people wearing a lot of shiny aluminum and funky helmets.

Ring any bells?

What was that one show about a family of dinosaurs? The baby would always say "not the mama", that show was the shit.

^^^

Whoa I remeber having those as well one year.

When I was really young I was a huge mighty mouse fan. That show would pump me up, I'd be jumping off the couch trying to fly during the credits.

Then I became a huge Ninja Turtles fan but who wasn't?
