Dirty Three - Ocean Songs.
devastatingly beautiful and sad
Tortoise - TNT
very inventive and diverse.
Amon Tobin - Supermodified (this is electronic, does that still count?)
a spectacular clash of jazz and electronic years before Cosmogramma
GY!BE - Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada
best EP ever.
Labradford - Mi Media Naranja
if ennio morricone played ambient music. amazing
Al di Meola, Paco de Lucia, John McLaughlin - Friday Nights in San Francisco
the hipster in me hates myself for including this amongst the above 5, however the guitarist on me can't help myself. damn good stuff.

Have you seen bucket this tour? AfuckingStounding. i know weve talked buckethead before because i remember you talking about the praxis show from bonnaroo 04 if im correct? His past few albums have been incredible starting from Diamond in the Rough through the newest one (cant remember name unfortunately) It sounds like he fell in love, then lost his love, and then recovered himself through his past 3 albums. I actually read somewhere recently about how he creates his music. Apparently he tackles a song as if he is vanquishing an enemy, as if its a stage on a video game! Makes perfect sense huh?
