fantasy football 2012/2013 v. my kicker got me 25 points!

he had 7 TDs last season with limited playtime.
i know

three of which matched up with justin king

i hope he does well, for your sake, just am not sold on him yet

brandon lloyd should have a strong season considering josh mcdaniels

Grabbed Ogletree in both my leagues after the 2nd touchdown. I hope this guy ends up being the next Laurent Robinson!

dallas always seems to have WRs to come outta nowhere

miles austin's break out year also comes to mind

tryed to grab ogletree, but it's waiver period and cause i had first pick i'm 12th in waivers, bullshit

Wednesday is the day everyone is cleared from waivers in my leagues so I scooped him up immediately with no penalty.

Crazy week for both my teams, check out this screen cap.

Both my teams were way down going into monday night. In both games I came back to win by two points with the games having almost identical points in both leagues. On one team I had baltimore DEF and in another I was going against them. They scored 18 points, just enough for me to win in one league and just shy of what it took for me to lose in another league. I was also going against jankowski, who got shut out in the 2nd half. If the raiders werent down like they were he would have kicked fild goals instead of them going for TD's, hugely lucky on my part.

Craziest week of fantasy ever, and thats saying a lot.

How was everyone else first week?

i lost my first game.

eli manning was average.
greg jennings sucked.
hakeem nicks sucked.
brandon lloyd was average.
darren mcfadden did well.
demarco murray did well.
tony gonzalez did well.
rashad jennings sucked (i only picked him up and started him because my opponent had mjd - so much for that).
garret hartley was average.
chicago d did well.

on to next week.

^ congrats on week one success(care)

i won week one as well(always makes rams losing a little easier to swallow) without having too hot of a week, scored 87 points....high of the week was 124 to put things in perspective

even though i didnt start them i was happy too my bench perform well, micheal bush with two TDs and malcom floyd had a TD

again on the kicker thing, greg zuerlein(rams kicker) scored 13 points which was cool, but andre johnson had a real nice week and scored 13.5 points...no god damn way a kicker's production should be weighted that heavily

tell your fantasy commish that kickers should either be outlawed or have every kick between 19-40 yds be one point and kicks over 40 yards be two points and no fucking points for extra points....

yep - nice work care.

china rider, nice win. floyd pretty much was the nail in my coffin as my opponent had him and it came down to that.

i have no idea what to do this week. jennings looks in trouble. nate washington got hurt but it doesn't seem so bad. i picked up ogletree just to piss off everybody else but i have no idea whether to start him... ho hum.

alasdair

start jennings

he should only be benched if he's forced on the sidelines dressed in a hoodie and ball cap

he hasn't practiced at all this week and he's a game time decision... i hate starting a player only to see them not play...

alasdair

you should know an hour before kick off if he's going to go or not

if you're unable to manage your team that late into the day, than yeah i guess i'd consider benching

i thought i was not going to be able to be online that late but i can watch this right up to the start so i should be ok.

thanks, man.

Ogletree got a lot of targets last week and Romo was on fire. He is taking the place of Laurent Robinson as the #3 wr in Dallas, who had 11 TD's last year. I think the fact that the #1 and #2 dbs will be occupied by dez bryant and miles austin might , once again, open things up for Ogletree. I think he has huge potential this season .

Holy balls my bl league team kicked ass this week. 160 points and I still have Decker going tonight.

^ nice.

hindsight is everything but i'm quietly laughing at everybody who jumped on ogletree and steven hill and started them this week.

eli manning and hakeem nicks worked out pretty well for me yesterday :)

need eric decker to get me 3 points tonight and i win and improve to 2-0 despite not having a huge week either week

still waiting for stafford and mccfadden to explode, and for antonio brown to find the endzone

i think it's cool and all but so far my kicker has gotten me the most fantasy points (25), rams rookie kicker who is ICE, greg zuerlien

GET RID OF KICKERS or at least stop having thier points weighted so heavily...i'll say it every week and don't understand why nobody has my back on this issue...i'm a beneficiary from these rules like a mother fucker, doesn't matter, it's still LAME

^ do you have a league where longer field goals get more points? why not change it so all field goals are worth 3 points?

alasdair

yeah longer the kick the more points you get, think 19-40 are 3 points, 40-49 4 points and 50+ 5 points..extra points are one point

if i had my way all field goals from 19-49 would be 1 point, over 50 2 points and no points for extra point
