70. Spider Baby

this movie works. it is all the fun that a b-movie should be, without any of the guts, rape, or jarring language. and it is truly clever, not comically bad. it is great as a complete work, as isolated scenes, and line-by-line--giving it significant re-watch value. a huge influence on the so many psychopath-family films to follow. of course owing something to The Adams Family.

62. Contagion Some might disagree with me that this is a horror film at all but I think it is. This movie and Jaws had a similar effect on me. But instead of me afraid of going to the beach I left the theater afraid to touch door handles and to shake peoples hands.

^love the movie but felt Keanu Reeves was terribly cast. His attempt at a British accent almost makes me nauseous. :(
