my personal prefered way to avoid it these days is that I dont even mention money until the deed is done. If L.E. cant get an agreement of sexual acts for money upfront, they cant do shit. The solution is easy, dont discuss sexual acts at all and dont discuss money at all. Sometimes when the deed is done the guy pulls the "I thought it was $180...." kind of stuff, whether it's a lie or not doesnt really matter because getting stiffed a bit in the end is just annoying and better then getting busted.
Well... You have everything on lock then and you will be one of the few true success stories in this industry.
10 years from now you may look back and smack yourself on the head.
"WHAT the hell was I thinking?!?!??"
Then again, maybe you won't. I personally know quite a few people who were in this business. 2 of them were extremely intelligent, and they felt the same way you do. Both of them currently have major regrets.
All I am saying is that the psychological impact of this lifestyle choice is far greater than you recognize right now.
I still wish you the best of luck.
