Today i did 3 sets of 185lbs barbell curls, 3 sets of 70lbs lateral raises, 3 sets of 60lbs incline butterfly's, 3 sets of 60lbs incline dumbbell presses and 3 sets of 60lbs incline bicep curls
So I understand how regular exercise can be beneficial in so many different ways. My question is, I suffer from chronic pain in abdomen. Its due to having my colon taken out 11 years ago. They said I shouldn't have prob l ems with pain after a certain time frame after surgery so when I did I thought something was wrong. They just diagnosed chronic pain. Said it was a fluke which they admitted they dont like to say.
So its a throbbing pain in my abdomen and if I twist my torso it can be sharp. Its constant and very aggravating. Ive had chronic pain Dr's tell me to set my limit and dont exceed it except once a month. If I do more than usual im like laid up for a day or two. I know exercise is important so my question is what exercises do you think I can do that woukd help me get heart pumping? I got a couple dumbells. Very light. I can work my arms and shoulders fine but my cardio is terrible. If I walk 20 feet I gotta stop and rest. Partly bc of pain and partly bc im winded. I try to stretch everyday and do what I can butbi must say im very discouraged right now. I dont expect to go in gym and kill it I need to be realistic. My testosterone tested extremely low. Like almost gone. Im starting trt in couple weeks. I hope that helps my energy level. Im just tired of feeling like a wet mop, lol. Any exercises tips woukd be appreciated.
What kind of cardio do you think is best. Running or even walking is kinda out, at least now. I guess i could invest in a bike or get a gym membership and ride a bike. I woukd ride a regular bike but I live in bad part of town. My goofy ass riding a bike down the street woukd Def not go well, lol. There's a Planet Fitness pretty close to me. I might just get a membership. Plus, being in a environment where everyone is working out might help my motivation. Hard to motivate at home lost in my own head.I would say start with cardio and then work up to things like dumbell curls. Cardio is important as im finding out mine is terrible to

I used to press 250lb above my head. That's ~110kg. Pull it up to my shoulders and then press up. Hardest lift IMHO. Military press is even harder, because you cannot use leg drive. Without leg drive I could push ~95kg above my head. Leg drive would add another 10kg easily. My biggest ever lifts were a 235kg squat, 240kg deadlift and 165kg bench. From memory, I could be off by 5kg, but no more than that. I hurt my back doing 5 x 220kg deadlifts.
