I bought a pair of these last week, They are SO AMAZING it's ridiculous! :)
I have flat feet and have never been able to wear running shoes because the arch support feels like red hot nails after a few minutes. So my entire life I've always work converse and flat skate shoes, neither of which are very good for running. I've gone jogging in these vibrams 3-4 times now and they are simply incredible, it's so hard to explain but I just seriously love these so much that I'm going to buy another pair to use as my main shoes. Also I was reading that barefoot running helps people with flat feet develop arches, so thats another plus.

And it's totally true, that you don't use certain muscles when wearing shoes. I've had to ease my way into running with these because there are muscles in my calf area that get sore way before the rest of my legs - which is cool with me, I'd rather be utilizing all my muscles anyway. So not only are these ridiculously comfortable and conducive to flat feet, but they are more efficient in terms of using your muscles. =D


Just wanted to share that with someone haha, anybody else here ever use these before??

Anyway, I'm about to go do some yoga. I've been slacking hardcore in that department haven't done yoga in a few weeks now and I can really tell a huge difference in my mindset between now and when I was doing it 4-5 times a week. So I'd like to get back to at least every other day. :)

I was cramping a bit this morning and just not down with a hard workout.. So I basically watched an hour of TV.. lol, but at least I made it in

I did another full body workout and I feel amazing! So I just checked my weight and Im at 144 lbs for a 5'6 lady which ain't bad but I'd like to lose 5 more lbs at least.
 
Managed to workout a little bit after doing work over time. Did about 40 min of cardio work out and a few crunches. Going again tomorrow after work (yes I'm working on a Saturday) for about an hour then hot yoga at night for an hour hihi.
 
Just did a full body workout. I gotta do 10 more min of cardio and I'm done! Not only that, I also have hot yoga tonight yes I call it extreme workout madness!
 
Damn! I was 10 min late to hot yoga so I didnt make it for that class. It wasn't a waste though cause I went to the sauna room and sweat a lot like holyyyy smokes. I'm coming back tomorrow so I can do hot yoga and then sauna as well.I want to go to the gym too in the morning but ill see how I feel.
 
Went to the gym and did hot yoga after. Planning to do hot yoga again tomorrow I hope my coworker comes with me tomorrow night so we can enjoy another hot yoga night like last Sunday.
 
Blah this move has fucked up my entire schedule. I got a pair of dumbbells to have at home, so other than using those for a couple different exercises, pushups, sit ups, and running, I haven't worked out in a minute. I guess that isn't terrible, I'm still doing something. I REALLY need to get back to doing yoga though, I could REALLLLLY use some inner peace right about now. I'm going to make a commitment here to do yoga 3 times before next monday.

On the plus side, I got myself a new BMX bike finally! :D My old one got stolen right before I got clean, though I hadn't BMXed in forever anyway. I've really wanted to get back into it though and theres a concrete skatepark right down the street from my new house, so this is perfect. Found a pretty damn nice one on craigslist for relatively cheap, gonna go check out the skatepark and bike for the first time in years tomorrow. (I'll make sure I ease my way back into haha, not going to do anything crazy... yet) This will be a great form of exercise though, if I get as into biking as I used to be then I'll be in excellent shape in no time without even really working out.
 
Today im going in for an extra long run.. saw that the weather seems to be thinking about switching to a temp where I can finally start to run outside soon.. so long run, lift chest, legs, and arms today.

that bike should be fun right case:)

Seriously, though, I won't be able to do hard exercise for awhile now since I am recovering from the 4 seizures. All I'm allowed to do is walk around and do gentle yoga stretches. I am beyon disappointed. I have a calendar on my wall for INSANITY and am going to have to put it on a long hold.

Thank god I have my beaches and forests where I can stroll for the next month or two.

I am going to yoga class again tonight!! I wanna sweat a lot again tonight and just stretch my body.
 
I'm going to skip the workout today, I feel so burnt out. I am going to listen to my body and rest after work today and probably take a nap or something so I have enough energy for tomorrow to go to the gym.

On the brighter side the hot yoga has been helping me a lot in terms of dealing with stress and anxiety. I signed up for the 30 day access for a really good deal and now I am going to sign up for a monthly pass. I think that hot yoga will be something that I would like to do as a regular workout activity after the experiences I have had for 3 days of doing it.
