will OTC anti histamines help stop the reaction around injection sites? happening almost everytime with one guys gear, unmissed.

I even had to score on the day of my wifes funeral because I couldn't face being ill. I'm still ashamed that I was even thinking of scoring that day when all my thoughts should have been about the funeral. But I was too scared to face the funeral while in withdrawal.
No reason why yr mate can't make some payments to you though if he is a tattooist cos they must make good money as tattoos aren't cheap at all.
Sorry you lost your mate to heroin. A lot of heroin addicts myself included lost a lot of friends when heroin took over my life.
Now I've got go try and somehow rebuild those friendships if they even want to give me another chance again.

I know what you mean when you say you feel ashamed, my dad was not even dead an hour " he died at home " and I went out in my car to mc donalds car park to have a smoke. That's something I always feel ashamed about, I should of been at home supporting and looking after my ma.

I used to find the citric harsh to use and you're right you don't need to use much of it from those little sachets you get.
I used to find the Vit C sachets a lot more forgiving on my veins.
 
You probably know already but you can buy Vitamin C powder at any health food store and most chemists. A tub will last an awful long time and you've a health drink always at hand as well. Harm reduction, a fine thing.
 
I don't like the vit c for a hit, it doesn't seem to dissolve the gear as much and I used to find myself putting loads of it on.

I guess it's the lumps that sometimes come up on your arm your talking about, they look like giant blisters. We used to call them mousers, ive not got a clue why they were called that. I always used to think it was caused by too much cit but I'm not sure any more. Really really nice gear brings them out on me but I don't know what it is, maybe it is a histamine reaction which is what I tend to think it is now. Anyway they go after 10 mins so I don't see what the problem is....

Gear by me is nice, cash flow isn't.. It's always the fuckin same, when I get paid the gear goes bollox and when I'm struggling for dough the gear is nice, just got to wait till 11 tonight when money clears in the bank and ill be havin a nice thing, tick tock tick tock..

really doubt it's that, i'm all HR again to the point where i put a tiny amount of citric and the h doesn't all dissolve, tiny bit more til it goes. plus it's just this new guys gear, no one elses. only had this reaction once before and i thought i'd hit an artery i was so freaked out by it. that was just a swing and a miss. actually that may have been from the same source but middlemanned. anyway, it looks like in that thread without the ballooned inner elbow, goes after a while.

Rather similar really - extremely satifactory product about from a certain source at the moment but he wont do tic and I'm smashed broke for the week. Theres a likelihood that a friend will be getting weight in tomorrow however - who'll give me as much tic as I want. Should that fail...well I'll have to rough it until Thursday when I can borrow 40 or so.

But its 2013...and I promised myself I'd give the sober lifestyle a decent chance this year so as soon as my next diazepam script is issued at the end of the week, I'll be using them and 200mls of methadone to taper and slide off the scene for a while. Want to get the fuck off unemployment, hire an agent/get a job and fuck off out of here for a year or so. Done with this dump for the moment.
 
Well im just about fucked as i miscalculated my next visit to the docs - thought it was tomorrow but its next week went to the bank on fri expecting about 300 and only had 50 so that went up in smoke in a couple of days. so i have a very limited amount of 'done to keep me till next wed, 1st time ive been caught out for years and whats weird is it happened to a mate of mine last week.

yea i picked up some vit c but as you said it takes forever..see what happens.

it's not really a problem but it's not exactly right is it?
 
I lob the lot on, seems to last longer that way.

Just picked up - mate back from Oz and back in the game for a bit until he fucks off elsewhere again. Too early to tell the quality but it runs perfect, no bogie tastes and my armpits are drying up nicely.
 
picked up sum vit c, same gear today (well, same crew), no skin reaction. but i also used one of those sterifilt filters as i picked up loads of them too. maybe it was too much citric or i've just become sensitive to citric, or maybe the sterifilt filtered out whatever was causing it. either way, going to stick with vit c and sterifilts for a while. i've said it before, but i think these filters are really good.
 
when i used citric - any amount - i would get those bumps, thats why i always used vit c- fuck for the 1st year i shot i used lemon, all junkies did back then (81) as thats all we new
 
alright bluelighters bigman here . its good to be out and back with my family . thanks to everyone who was asking for me , cazamac , the wife, told me people were asking how i was doing, cheers.
and a special thanks for supporting caza , she is one in a million , iv always loved her but dont think i realised what a wonderful woman she is . hopefully cazamac and myself can sort things out . she has been through an awful lot in her life , and its been a tough time for both of us , so it was good that she had people to talk to , so thank you once again .
sorry iv not posted till now just been trying to find my feet and get back to normal .
spent my first night of freedom with the wife and a burn , kit was a lot better than it was when i went in but still not great . at least i had a beautiful woman to share the bells with, that is all i was worried about shes gorgeous with a heart of gold .
iv been trying to catch up with the thread , there is a lot, but it sounds like its starting to get back to normal for most , it took its dam time .

does heroin work rectally? I'm not much good at smoking it and not up for shooting it. I have good experience plugging M.S but can't remember heroin working quite so well.

apparently. if you're not backed up, which most users are i guess. i tried it and nothing really happened, just felt the shame of having poked a syringe of b up my bum. if only someone had told me that is what it would come to i would never have taken that first puff of weed! 8(

Yeah allegedly it works rectally and I've heard the bio-availability is high enough too. I must have been 'blocked up' as you've put it as my attempt merely diminished my withdrawals a tad; not at all entirely.

I dumped my stash of works the other day actually and gave my citrics, swabs, ph water viles etc to a friend. Never going near a needle again, fuck that. Will be doing the methadone taper (again) this monday/tuesday and hopefully I'll be off the dole by the end of the month. Heres to 2013.
