Enlightenment is so simple we all refuse every waking second to accept it.

With all due respect, but this is bullshit, life sucks. i want to see all of you motherfuckers living in a fucking third world working your ass off and making no to little money, the whole life, no hope, only suffer.

You are so full of shit. If you actually realized half the shit you were talking about, you would have some real compassionate action in the world for people who are suffering, instead of just telling them to get enlightened and then they won't suffer anymore. You're quoting the scripture of people who actually understood this, but you're in DMT/LSD lala land.

When did you cease to suffer? Tell everyone, please. And please, no more "this not-this" crap. Dissociating from your body isn't non-suffering, it's the complete opposite. I'm sorry to be so rude but sometimes people need a splash of cold water, especially those who are on a spiritual path that are lecturing others about suffering. You're so spiritually bypassed you can't even recognize it when someone directly warns you.

spiritual bypass is a bullshit word. Thrown around by those who are still in suffering and think no one can realize the self in this lifetime i assume you are of the dualistic thought of school in the Vedanta. A guru can simply look at some people give them a shakti mantra and have them fully awaken if they are primed

Funny how you keep trying to peg me as being in one school or another, or having had a bad teacher, or having had bad books. You're really grasping for anything to discredit my evaluations.

The part in bold is totally irrelevant to our conversation. Those people exist, you are not one of them.

Spiritual bypassing is not a bullshit word at all, and it's not merely an excuse to dismiss other people. It's an accurate term that acknowledged disciples like Swami Sarvapriyananda use to describe people who don't embody the very thing they're talking about. None of your words convey divine love, compassion, or any of the qualities of what is real that the mind-body experiences when it integrates this information. You sound far out, really far out, like you've done a lot of psychedelics and think you've figured it all out. You talk about the here and now but then you go on and on about negating duality which shows you're attached to mind concepts.

You're not enlightened, dude. Get over it. I respect that you're on the path, but you exhibit none of the qualities of an enlightened person. You've had primary awakening and think you've done it all. I'm not even a guru and I can see it. Telling people who are suffering the spiritual equivalent of "get over it" is unethical.

I'm not enlightened either. So don't worry.
 
i never negate duality because duality does not exist. No one is ever not enlightened. You are enlightened you were never not illumined. We are both characters been played by divine energy. The highest truth is there so its pointless furthering any discussion

Everything you just said is true. I just don't see indications that you embody what you're saying. Lots of people parrot the words, like the millions out of fake gurus out there. You know the real deal when you see it.

Yogis who preach either effort or non-effort are still attached to the body. I neither dissociate nor associate with any of that and am happy.

None they only show what is possible. But you never are not illumined. But becoming aware and untangling your consciouness you can have a matrix breaking awakening into absolutely nothing/infinity the self abiding in bliss beyond time and space and the universe
 
Tru-Enlightenment according to us Tru-Gypsies is Love+Truth+Knowledge+Wisdom= Tru-Enlightenment and will yield immortality but not eternal life till you decide to die usually around 250 yuears on Earth your first lifetime at which point youll get your personal Archetype saved then when you reinencharnate your personality traits, intelligence, enlightented state of being and of course with all the past Love+Truth+ Knowledge and WIsdom you had built up and saved and then once your born again starting over from a lil baby human being then its just keep on coming from Love like a motherfucker non-stop in the next life and of course calling out the truth on the spot like my Truth-Bearing gypsy ass keep stacking em knowledge and wisdom chips stacking dem joints staying Tru'D up and humbly keep seeking the advice and guidance of us any and all of us Divine Beings in our Enlightened eternal Tru-Family and you play your cards right by always staying teachable and pragamatic and forward thinking and we all Love you and decide you are needed foerever then you just might have a chance at becoming an Enlightened,Immortal and Eternal life-having Divine Being like me SeanyTru or Satan or any of the rest of us and of course like all 13 original Melchizedek Children cuz we still here and we all have been alive here over 300.000 years just keeping on and creating coming from love cuz we are some Gypsy to tha bone street motherfucking kids with higher-consciencenesses and come from love and create for everyone and thats why we all are still alive and kicking and rocking together always always for real we really are a very loving group called we cqll our Tru-Family of all us Divine Beings with immortality and eternal life and we take turns going up off the physical plane of existence onto the Astral-Plane where we can be Creator Spirits together , and ill say this one of my favorite all-time Creator spirit partners is me Alpha-God SeanyTru and the Nessies really, really hardcore vibe creatively on our cCreator Spirit colloabortions overtime cuz our brains are soo different they compliment each other and we rock out like crazy everytime baby vibing and vibing creating and doing our thang....One Love and of course Peace yall ...SeanyTru-Gypsy Melchizedek

@TripSitterNZ do you see any incongruity between your posts in this thread - which talk about enlightenment, awakening, magic and such - with the posts you write in ce&p which are often abrasive, aggressive and insulting?

to me - and i am the first to admit that i know little of enlightenment - they could be written by two completely different people...

Sorry I stopped reading after the first page.

Have to admit, I have a tendency toward nihilism so at first I connected with TripSitter (I studied all this back when I was in my late teens to early 20s and have more or less forgot all about it), but as I read @Foreigner ’s replies I realised.... there’s a lot there that’s good too. I mean, I don’t believe in God but I connect with what you’re saying- the mind-body experience (illusion) is.... there. Saying it’s “real” is possibly an oxymoron cos isn’t that contradictory? But I know what you mean.

I don’t know why TripSitter is being... “defensive” for lack of a better term... telling @Foreigner to leave the thread and making some rude remarks...

Like I get you guys are at odds but maybe both try to be more open minded and flexible about each other’s POV rather than get defensive about it.

Thanks for the input @Foreigner, I think you may be right that his psychedelic use is what you’re picking up on. The feeling you’re getting from his posts is like dissociation (which obviously is present with psychedelics). It’s a dangerous path when going down Buddhism so you’re probably right to be wary of that. Like mental health practitioners often encourage eastern philosophy in therapy, but acknowledge that dissociation is a negative side effect for some. I’ve gone through my psychedelics phase and I actually do suffer from dissociative disorder so I feel relatively confident about saying that.

A good read! If TripSitter discussed instead of argued. The multipost monologuing is not my favourite either. I prefer coherent dialogue like Foreigner.

For the record... I’m a bit of an eclectic anarchist.... I read everything from all schools but only hold onto things that make sense/makes sense to me/makes sense in this time (one of my fave books is “Buddhism without Beliefs” a short popular book but talks about how obviously the Buddha and his teachings started in a time and context where Gods and dieties were a commonly held belief which is not so much regarded anymore, and other such examples..). So you both have things that interest my mind.

So on that note, this is where I always end up... how much emphasis should we be putting on ‘this life’ as an illusion? I get caught between thinking “nothing is real or matters” (like I said I have a tendency towards existential nihilism) BUT acknowledge that one cannot “exist” without at least acting as if everything IS real and matters otherwise what would motivate anyone to keep living? We would ignore hunger and die or fear and get hit by a car crossing the road because we didn’t look both ways because nothing is real or matters right? So how do you factor that into “reality is an illusion”. I know this is delving more into normative ethics now- how should one live if reality is indeed an illusion, but that is congruent with life and living? More so looking at you @Foreigner

All i can say is that it seems to be that reading comphresion is severely lacking in the general populace. But fubar you are right enlightment is fucking bullshit haha thats the joke of it all its a illusion in of itself. consciousness is already illumined
