Eminem in rehab

yeah its ambien. But he know doubt does a lot of other drugs. i just finished reading his biography and within the book he does MDMA atleast 50 times

(Actually Ambien was THE WORST drug I've ever taken. Even if I only took it right before bed and slept 8+ hrs, every day felt like the WORST benzo withdrawal ever. ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I quit cold turkey, gave them away, and never will touch those bastards as long as I live.)

I've tried a lot of substances. That one was the worst, for me.
 
I dont know why dude is on sleeping pills. I heard his "wife" or whatever Kim got him on the things. I have always been into weed and opiates but I do not know why anyone would wanna be faded on sleeping pills all day.

Ok, some things need to be made clear. Em's on a what 7-10 year probation? for position of a dangerous weapon (Gun/ also " gun slapping". Hes drug tested like any other person would be for drug related crimes. Hes admitted he had to quit everything including marijuana. [ One of my fav lyrics "This is no joke, I don't smoke But I toke enough second hand to make my fuckin "P.O." choke" Then proceeds to say "I pee in a cup for three months; I'm having an E party for Easter, please come". Sorry for not providing any sources about his official quitting of drugs but it was all over the media so look it up if your interested.
As far as the ambien addiction its due to over use of a 10 day treatment drug. ( Even though every doc seems to love giving 30 day supply every month) due to exhaustion he continued to up his dose. Those fimilar with ambien know that repeated use basically makes you extreamly intollerent to the disered effects. ( or even for rec use

With all the money and resources he has, you wonder why he couldn't bring in his own doctor to detox him at his home? This would avoid ANY press whatsoever. An interesting situation indeed. And as most with common sense already know, the main purpose of his rehab is not the ambien(if he's ever even taken it). For it to be bad enough that he needed to go to a rehab facility... let's just say he musta been into some very serious drugs at extreme dosages...

The Detroit Free Press Friday described how Marshall Mathers -- the rapper's real name -- fought insomnia throughout his five-week Anger Management 3 tour, which wrapped up last weekend in Detroit.

Sources told the Free Press Mathers reached a point during the tour where he was only getting about an hour of sleep per night.

A relative told the newspaper insomnia runs through the maternal side of the rapper's family.

"We don't require much rest, so we tend to go until we drop," the family member said. "Kind of like racehorses, racing until falling over."

As he grew more tired during the tour, sources said Mathers increased his dose of the legal prescription. But, higher doses of Ambien have the opposite effect -- they will keep the insomniac awake instead of inducing sleep, the Free Press said.

After meeting with friends and associates at his suburban Detroit estate Monday, Mathers decided to check himself into the hospital. A day later, it was announced he was canceling his European tour because of "exhaustion".

This sort of explains what I was trying to say about how serious ambien dependency can be... I'm not defending eminem I wouldn't give a rat's ass if hes really shooting heroin. But to down play ambien as its bendryl or something similar is not a good idea. Following days of Ambien use CAUSES depression at least for me.... only way to ease it is my 10-15 mg of xanax daily. POINT BLANK ambien fucked up my social life...at least for a extent

Thanks for the link, but I still think the story is bullshit.

And if you're taking 10-15 mg of xanax, that tells me right off the bat that you have a high dependence on it. Maybe the xanax is your problem and not the ambien? That's my guess.

Off-top im really sorry but yea I have a prob with xanax its so short actiong I take 4 pills of 2mg every 2 hours its just my body is so used to it ( complete opposite actually in my psychology course i believe its your body excepting the POISIN just like Alc....though benzo are more safe then fermented poisons. but its hard I come aacross alot of good folks and i hope some wish me luck because this xanax shit is getting out of hand . I was a normal person with aniexty problems ( natures defence ) and the xanax meds everything just got me in this trap

Wow, I had taken ambien for about two weeks for sleep problems and loved it. I was told by the doc that it was perscribed a lot becasue it was non-addictive.
I do think that, since he does seem t ohave a severe dislike for his mom's drug abuse that he does fear a drug addiction and may have a problem with Ambien only.
Of course, he is also a sneaky little shit and may be full of crap as well. Either way hope he comes out better on the other side.

Anyways hes not going to rehab for hard drugs have you seen how healthy hes been looking? does he admit too being on multiple pills on stage anymore? Lyrics....should they be considered entertainment or biography? These rappers/singers blah are all buiness (won)men I read severeal articlkes that aaaaartist just cant fog up their mind with drugs anymore when their dealing with mult-million dollar companies. Xanax will fucking end you if you abuse it. I know someone who seizured and turned blue when he ran out and had to be hospitalized as well. Taking a few benzos every month won't hurt ya, but consistant usage is FUCKING DANGEROUS.

Unfortunately, sleeping pill addiction is the kind of drug addiction that old white politicians get, not hardcore gangster rappers. You don't see Snoop Dogg checking himself into a hospital because he likes tranquilizers, you see him smoking eight joints at once and then walking around stoned out of his mind, having sex with however many hos he can get his hands on. As if Eminem wasn't already the whitest rapper in the world, he has to be addicted to the whitest drug in the world, too? You'd think as a rapper he'd try to earn some street cred by doing marijuana or cocaine, not taking sleeping pills. I've lost all respect for his misogyny and gay bashing now. Never again can I look at a woman or a homosexual and think "I hate you because Eminem told me to."
 
Yeah it probally only is Ambien. Those drug lyrics are what 3-5 years old. He's got his daughter who now is old-enough to know what he's doing and he definetly doesn't want her doing the same shyt he did, no matter what his old lyrics say, "But when it's all said and done I'll be 40
