Einstien on Religion

David,

"Light bending was research done with Heisenberg working on the "Probabilities" theories. Of course this could be attributed to the wave like effect light appears to present."

Einstein postulated that gravity bends light in 1915.

Heisenberg was born in 1901.

It's clear who had this idea first. Heisenberg may have worked with it, but Einstein worked on it... Heisenberg wasn't even published until this idea had been around for 10 years.

"The Jewish community has more people in it that are mainly atheist than you'd think. Especially in Israel itself. I've had this convo with a few Rabbi's myself. Our company deals with people in Israel quite a bit."

The comment was not passed with regard to those of ethnic jewish decent. It was made of the faith... The religion of judaism still ecknowledges a supreme being... You can look it up. Given that the state of Israel did not exist prior to the end of WW2, those scientists were of German decent... they were also Jewish.

"How in hell did you assume I was thinking of Hawking Radiation? I wouldn't even consider that, as being close to this topic. "Dark Matter" another unproven theory. Don't get me started on this sloppy math."

Sorry... I read the comment about dark matter and immediately assummed you had read about an interesting scientific development from the '70s... Didn't realize you were referencing the New York Times article. Just so you know... HR was observed in 1986, so the sloppy math would still be our problem - not his.

"^^^ Very true, and the simple fact he failed his college entrance exam just furthers the fact, that he was brilliant, yet still an idiot."

You're the one who is begining to sound like an idiot... Feel free to dangle whatever carrots you like. There's a guy I know who's bent of solving the Riemann Hypothesis... Carrots and all... Feel free to post your dis-proof of GR... Please be sure to unify light and gravity while you're at it.

As a side note... this is why I don't come on here when I'm stoned.... I find myself motivated to respond to this garbage - which meams I'm probably starting to sound like an idiot too.... :P

Eienstein didn't finish his paper on it until 1919. I wasn't making the point of who came up with the concept. The concept doesn't matter. Who wrote the currently defining papers is what matters. This was Heisenberg, and Eistein together.

I apoligize, my statements were made on the basis of ethnic descent. If anyone made this assumtion that it wasn't, then I don't know what to say. After all Hitler himself was a Jew.

Yes, I know they discovered the effect of "Dark Matter". The General Relativity equations require it's exsistence, but We can't find it's influence anywhere except in microwave radiation, and thusly gravity. I should hope my math isn't sloppy. If so we'll see soon enough I hope.

I am an idiot. I admit it every day. I can't even begin to to understand everything. I'm working on it though. Carrots are good for you, and me. It's a motivational factor, and helps myself become motivated to work on this.

Please continue being an arogant poss. I enjoy the company. BTW it's not garbage. It's drivel. From now on I'll keep it to a lower level so as not to offend your delicate nature. Now stick your nose up higher.

Go ahead and site a paper than was co-authored by Einstein and Heisenberg....

It is reasonably well supported that Hitler could have been of partial Jewish decent - from his Grandfather...

I figured I would pick my arguments...

How about a book? I just got done reading it. I had no idea that Heisenberg worked so closely with Einstein during the time he was writing his postulates on probability.

Hitler also had the features that the SS was using to judge the people on their purity. He resembled a Jew by their definition. So, I guess that point is null, and void.

ummm... what book?

Einstein and Heisenberg didn't co-author a book...

I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here.... other than that you have a capacity for being contrary...

I think we're done here...

^^^ Read the post again. I never said they did co-author a book. In a book of his he describes the work he did with Einstein. He also wrote a few books about Einstein. I was done long ago, but you dragged it out with driveling banter.:p I could have stopped replying, but I like a good conversation, and was hoping this one would pick up again.

I'm currently reading this book, and find it quite interesting.

I just got done reading a book about the overlapping works of Einstein and Poincare... But they only actually met twice, and shared no work between them...

Could you possibly be suggesting that Einstein and Heisenberg worked on something together, simply because their work was related??? News flash... they were both physicists...

In that case, since I'm a network enginneer... Bill Gates and I have been collaborating for years now!

And you still haven't actually cited any book...

Well gee. you never asked, so I never offered. I don't give with-out a need to.

Gee you're a network engineer. I'm a physics student. Pleased to meet you.

"Encounters with Einstein" by Werner Heisenberg. There's another one, but I'm sure there's even more.=D

<removed derogatory remark...>

you have no argument. this conversation is closed.

you can leave the "thread" open as long as you like... my conversation with David remains outside your domain...

nice try... hippy...

/just messing around ;)

You're a very angry person, aren't you? In science you need to learn that none of this is to be taken seriously, otherwise you'll end up in fights with every other scientist around you. That's part of the poshness of science. We're generally very respectful to everyone, and use our intellect to argue our points; not snide remarks, and rude comments.

Peace be with you though.=D

"Encounters with Einstein", is 'the' book. Can't you read? Are you high?8)

What can I say David... I'm not a particularly angry person, but I'm having a hard time taking you seriously at this point.

peace be with you too.
