Satricion: This thread is about eating Nurofen Plus, I couldn't care less if you don't like codeine. So if you prefer Herion, Oxycodone or Methadone over codeine then good for you.

I don't get it. I bought a 24 pack (they weren't even behind a counter) and they split very easily. I had 10 N+ halves in a glass of water. No nausea, no itching, no tummy ache, and a slight warm and sleepy feeling. I was relaxed and warm and content but is that it?!

Codeine isnt worth the effort, no matter how small that may be IMO. I took it about 8-9 times in increasing doses to about 28 pill halves, after which i had killer liver pains for a day and a half and hung up my codeine knife for good. You have to be doing nothing to notice much effects and you'll yack ur ring up if u get hungry and eat something too soon after your 'high'. Theres plenty of other drugs out there...

I also get the killer liver pains from too much N+

To do anything serious with codeiene you need pyridine and lots of patience.

i find the itchiness goes over time. i had 24 last nite with a booster of 12 a couple of hrs later with a telfast (antihistamine),and had no probs at all. not itchiness or nausea and the best fucking sleep ive had in ages, just got up and its 11:30. yep clop thats it...

I pinched two of my sister's painkillers she was prescribed after a wisdom tooth operation (she's not taking them anymore). Well, I discovered 60mg of codeine does nothing except cure a headache It didn't help with the pill comedown whatsoever... benzos would have been nice Obviously quite a bit more codeine is needed to get some sort of effect?

On a pill comedown I would use about 120mg of codeine, and whatever benzos I had.

This is mainly because I find the histamine reaction from anything more than 120mg of codeine to be unpleasant, but if you can handle it or have antihistamines you might want to go more. Experiment with the drug first before using it on a comedown to see what you like.

My last pill comedown I had 100mg of codeine, 15mg of nitrazepam and a few beers and it was an adventure in and of itself.

And I have LOTS of experience with them, at the height of my addiction I was skarfing down 3-4 packs of 48's in a day. And that is not dicksizing.

I'm now at one 48 pack a day but the most I got up to was 3. The biggest problem for me is the cost and the reputation I get at the local chemists. They tend to remember if you come in to buy more only 2 days after buying 2 boxes. I get the addiction speech every so often.

I rack up heaps on my VIP cards though. Gets me a free box every now and again.

I just noticed that there is a post of mine in this thread from about 6 months ago. Jesus, I'm still at it!

Although I did try heroin after "experimenting" with nurofens and trust me, there is a huge cross tolerance issue with these babies and heroin. I could easily do 1/2 a gram in one night of heroin the first time that I did it. And this was good gear, the white stuff you can easily get from a well known street in Melbourne.

So...please just watch yourself. And trust me, it eats away at your bank account quite dramatically, one day you'll look at your statement and go "FUCK!! I had $3000 in here....and now...!!"

Also, there is always the hassle of needing to goto neighbourhoods 5-15 minutes away in order that your pharmacist doesnt get that look in his eyes...you know the one....

Anyways, I'm not telling you not to do them, but for some people like me and it sounds like you too, we need to do a bit of thinking sometimes about the costs of our various vices.

I've heard that they use more than 1 manufacturing plant, some still have the old pill press that gives us the "good" nurofen, some have the new pill press that gives us the mixed "bad" ones.


At the chemist its funny, I've had 12 packs that are ok 48 packs that just won't split and the other way around.

I'll have to go and buy a pack purley for "research" purposes.

just to get back on topic ... has your question been answered? I think so.

In the past I have a bit crazy taken 6 Pandeine Fortes and had suffered some bad cramps in my stomach, but that was a long time ago, way before I learned of the CWE method. Ibruprofen is very harmful in large doses, so best to be extra careful and extract it always...

Even still, I no longer just swallow the N+ halves (the taste is enough to make me gag), however, I do split the tablets but then CWE and filter the N+ halves... You will be amazed to see how much "binders" and 'Ibrupofen' are left!!!! yuk... and this is just present in the N+ halves!... I remember when I would swallow 24 half tabs and 2 hours later I would get really sick... now, I just CWE the halves, mix with some tasty fruit juice and surprise... NO nausea at all and I feel better than ever.

I gotta stop reading these threads and buying up these things.. very addictive indeed.

SmokeBlow: Finially someone agrees with me about the taste of the Nurofen Plus tablets. Why do they taste so repulsive?

And yes this thread is making me want to visit the chemist too. I hope it goes to the next page so I can stop thinking about Codeine everytime I see it.

I was bored at my lunch break today, so I walked down the road to a pharmacy.. walked in, asked for N+ and they only has the 24s? ... so i bought them and left back to work.... on the way home from work, I stop by a Chemist and ask for N+, she said 'how many?' and I replied 'I need a 48 pack'... she said 'no.. we only have 24 WTF? this has been the case with 3 chemists I visited lately? I am not too frequent to each, and so there is no reason for them to be suspicious of my abuse. I think either there is more too this, and chemists have been made to sell only 1 24 pack per customer? anyone else seeing the trend happening like this? Maybe it is only my area? I am in Brunswick Melbuorne after all!!!

The australian pharmacies have a forum, auspharmlist ? or similar and they have talked about people splitting the nurofen in the past. I don't think the forum is open to the public anymore, all they seemed to do was bitch about the customers.

smokeblow - I got this a while back when I was living in Brisbane. I got told I needed a prescription to get the 48 pack, which is bull. I've moved back down to a quieter city now and have had no troubles getting 48 packs, I even get them recommended to me by the salesperson, "The 48 pack is better value you know!"

They probably do try to restrict the sales in cities, I mean they probably get a whole lot more sketchy looking people coming in per day and as such have reason to be wary that the product is not being used as recommended.

well. I should add I had been eating up on some benzos during the morning so maybe (but I doubt it, as looked and acted quite well considering). I forgot to add that bit about the benzos in the original post.. but I was not 'high' or anything. hmmm. . and I too have heard of stories where people have asked for a script (which is absolute BS!!)

Anyway, I got my '48' in the end, although I spent more than I should have had to.... pricks!

now... let's just see if they splt okay ... grrrrrrrrrr!!!

48's NOT SPLITTING!

I just went down to the same pharmacy I pick up all my scripts from (I never buy N+ there because I get enough scripts from there as it is), they had the 48's sitting there, up on the shelf near the counter, but not behind.

I grabbed a box, and turned to the counter.. The girl at the counter had to check with the *cough* manager before she got the okay to sell them? Why the hell do they even put them on the shelf if they can't sell them for f-k's sake!!!!?....

..anyway, this nice young lady (who has served me many times in the past, but only for my scripts, benzos, antidepressants, painkillers and so on...she MUST remember me) and she goes, "hold on while I ask the manager" ... he looked friendly enough, but she came back and asked "are you taking any other medications? " (like she does not know,. what BS!!)...I simply said "no" and then the manager looked over to her again, and he gave the ok nod to go ahead and sell them to me..

So now I get home, and I start spitting a half box which I already had left over in my collection - they all split fine. Then, I open the new box of 48's and so far NONE have split properly at all... damn life is a bitch!

Does anyone think they are purposefully making the 48's non-splittable just to get the abusers pissed off like me...?
