^Waitrose, M&S, Sainbury's... says it all. I can't deny that I used to shop in M&S when I lived near one & would use Sainsbury's if it was closer. They have the best own brand IMO.

Haha, I meant more that you believe you are spot on even if you aren't!

Unless you are fairly set on being a lawyer, be aware it is boring as fuck half the time. I got bored after 4 years & decided not to practice. I know some people who did their DLP, costing another £6000 before deciding not to. I've even heard of others starting traineeships only to figure out they don't want to do it. I believe our class of 300 was down to 120 by the end of the degree, I'm guessing not all of those graduated.

If you want to do it, then why not though! I'm not sure it's worth doing an un-related degree. You'd be better doing a Masters after instead.

An old friend of mine is studying to become a lawyer... or already has become a lawyer... havent seen him for a couple years. he was a proper snooty arrogant dickhead when he joined us out on the piss one night awhile ago, infact he very nearly got a smack for it

Chips and curry sauce for me, classy!

Excellent combo

I don't really shop in M&S for proper stuff, they just have a few particular things I like. Their lunch range is good, the have a fine selection of bread products as well.

Believing I'm spot on even if I'm not is the same thing as arrogance really haha. It's not that I'm MADLY in love with the idea of becoming a lawyer as in it's my only life ambition kind of thing, what I am set on though is making shite loads of money and that seems like a highly paid job that I could actually do well. I'm thinking criminal defence and from the little I know about it it sounds like it's the kind of thing that will interest me, I mean if I could do any job and get the same then I'd be a chef tbh but I don't want to just struggle through life on shit money when I'm clever enough not to have to. After all, there are worse things than being bored eh :P

I meant an un-related degree as in not having law as your undergraduate degree and then doing the LPC in the year after to get all the law knowledge and stuff and then moving on to the rest of the training. Too high to think properly right now so I'm going to end this, we are going off topic anyway ;) But I hope I'm vaguely making sense.

You know you still have to do the conversion course, right?

Anyway, good shout doing a different undergraduate course - I came within an inch of quitting half way through my Law degree, but still managed a 2:1 in the end. Not only is most of it tedious to the nth degree, Law students are the biggest tools going. Fact. Proper slimy, grasping, 'aspirational' weasels.

Also, criminal defence is not where the money is, if that's your priority. In fact I'd struggle to name a more poorly paid area in which to practise.

True. I stole the boyfriend of a law student when I was at Uni.. not the best enemy to make, really. =D

Leftover chicken gizzards from last night's Sichuan. Mindblowingly spicy shit - loads of chilli and lovely numbing Sichuan Pepper. This is it, more or less:

Looks better than it tastes probably.

95% of people would agree with you, it's extreme, but if you're a chilli lover it's the tits (not just heat as well, amazing flavour). Proper endorphin buzz.

Shame about the side effects, touch and go on the tube this morn. Sure it'll be tomorrow as well.

I just had a can of that Heinz big soup stuff. Was only going to have half but liked it so much I went back and devoured the rest. Was going to have my pizza but I think that'd be a struggle after not eating much for the past few days.

^ I rather like those. Also rather like the pie versions they started doing recently. Damnably good value ferra quid.

Had sausage stew 'n' dumpling for dins. So tasty it took two helpings (latter was a tight squeak but worth it). Dumplings were somewhat bullety due to lack of bicarb (forgot to add it by barely a minute :!) but they tasted okay. Plenty paprika in the gravy - and some chorizo for good measure - and a smattering of chilli. Mighty tasty.

Pie versions?! Haven't seen them. Speaking of pies though, I'd thoroughly recommend the pieminister ones, they're amazing, cba making my own at uni so I just have them instead. Expensive though unless they're on offer and I think you can only get the full range on Ocado.

Yours sounds good, I'm looking forward to doing some proper cooking once I get back home. I've been cooking a full dinner every day since my mum split up with my step dad when I was 16 because I stayed living with him and men shouldn't have to cook. At uni I just cba though. Maybe next year when I have a nicer house.

I haven't eaten since that Big Soup though, I'm bad. Pizza tomorrow though I think as I've got weed and drone is going to be gone by the end of tonight :P

Spar is stupidly overpriced. And obviously cheap food is cheap. It's mostly veg though and veg is cheap. The soup costs about the same only pastry is cheaper so you don't get as much "soup" in the middle. If you eat the soup the pie is basically soup wiv pastry.

I only ever bought mars milkshakes in Spar tbh, sometimes their £5 bottles of wine as well if I was feeling too lazy to walk the opposite way from accommodation to Sainsburys after lectures. Spar filled muffins are nice as well actually, I like a good muffin even though they're like 400 calories. Don't go there anymore now lectures are all done though :P

Not sure I'm going to go for the pies, would rather make my own ;) I am an excellent chef.

Homemade pies are not really the same thing as microwave pies which take a minute to cook and cost a quid. Horses/courses. I can cook food if/when I can be arsed too and have reason to. I couldn't knock up a tasty pie in a couple of minutes when I can't be arsed to cook properly though. This is where junk food comes in. You know this cos you ate a tin of soup for dins rather than making soup from scratch ;)

Also found an apple cream turnover in the fridge I forgot to eat when I bought it (only bought 'em cos were reduced to 35p - not usually a cream cake man but apple turnovers are another matter entirely - especially at 35p for two). Having rediscovered it it would seem churlish to not go ahead and munch it so I did. Cos I'm nice like that and kind to all fruity cream puffs.

I would prefer penis butter.

Apparently my dad had a peanut butter phobia for many years until my mum desensitised him to it.. he couldn't even bear to look at a jar. Possibly explains a lot.

Can't choose between pizza or KFC for later. Definitely want more grease in my life. Had a ham/cheese croissant and a steak bake already today, but the itch just hasn't been satisfactorily scratched yet.
