Sorry Shambles had the impression you weren't that big a fan on veggie only meals.
veg curry for what it is and is certainly a lot cheaper... Although that's not quite so clear-cut when cooking for one with no freezer capacity.
Pasta and a tin of ratatoille is about all i have on my menu this evening. That'll do, for a cheap and easy meal, its fairly enjoyable and healthy.
that meal was surprisingly delicious, i fried the pasta in garlic and pepper olive oil, and added fresh parmesan, fresh basil leaves, tomato puree and tomato sauce to it, and i was amazed hwo nice such a cheap any easy meal was.
Just a pepporoni piza tonight. I may add garlic, onions and sweet peppers on top for more nutrition and the antioxidants.
I had chicken wings, awesome, delicious chicken wings
Enjoy your Dinner or Tea![]()
Bacon risotto
risotto but is another thing I almost never think to cook despite it being dead easy. Must invest in risotto rice cos if I see it in the cupboard I may even think to use it one day 8)

It's fucking TEA you ponceI did indeed enjoy my dinner thanks, Bear
(tea is a drink dontcha know)
*awaits northern backlash*

at least that's how it works in my world. Then of course there is Supper if you are posh or attend Burlesque supper clubs and the like-which to me really seems to be dinner with more booze than usual--or am I talking bollocks.
I would say Tea is between about 4/5pm-6pm ish and dinner is about 7pm onwardsat least that's how it works in my world.|
) and back on topic of munching, today I have munched a gammon steak and tomato bap (wholemeal) for brekky, a smoked haddock 'n' mustard fishcake and tomato bap wiv faux guacamole for lunch, and will be finishing off last night's pastafest ("Truly Irresistible" lasagne, resistible but perfectly edible ham and mushroom tagliatelle and lomticks of Balsamic and Parmesan flatbread - yes it is a bit extravagant but for slightly complex and dull reasons it isn't really so bad as it seems). This would be a bit exorbitant for me really but have caught Co-Op at double reduction time a few times this week so got fuckloads of stuff in - everything I just mentioned cost a grand total of less than a tenner and represents two days of relative feasting. Bargains
