What did you think of it? The movie from the other side of the house would have been better - just 12hours of mayhem etc?

Forgot to mention 'Odd Thomas', really interesting movie. World War Z is awful - some of the effects where the zombies move like ants etc is a nice touch but reminded me of 'Starship Trooper' bug movement.
 
Yes I was left feeling that I'd been robbed by the premise of a good idea which turned out to be very lack-luster.
It's the only film that I've thought this about recently:
There should be a sequel - And it should be a bit more on mass and not just show the trials and tribulations of a single family.

I'm looking fwd to WWZ. And as you mention Starship Troopers then that's even better =D But I suppose this film will ask to be treated seriously unlike Starship Troopers.

I jus watched Paid in Full for the millionth time. If you've never seen it, great flick.

Also finished Behind the Candelabra about Liberace and his long-time lover. That was a good one. Blew my mind to see Matt Damon and Michael Douglas being gay with each other. Glad to see they really gay-ed it up for the movie tho.

The Illusionist is on Film4 at present = You may want to go to +1 as it's been on for a bit.
Great film that I cannot recommend enough :)

There was a small part of the CGI that reminded me of Starship troopers (the bugs swarming the camp) the rest of the movie is simply horrible and not worth watching / paying for / wasting your bandwidth etc .

Ahhh right yes, I remember that part well ;)
But, to be honest, I will end up watching it when it comes out on Duh-Vuh-Duh because I've just watched - likely - one of the worst zombie films in the last 2 decades:
Zombie Massacre (aka. Apocalypse Z)

Jeeez it was terrible, but in that "Golden Rubbish" sort of way. Plus it had it's video game to live up to (and ultimately die - Not even coming back as a zombie).
God it was crappy, but I'm such a sucker for terrible movies %)

Gunna have a lurk about and pick another flick for the night.

Me too - I loved her with the two swords :D - when she was walking though the building and pointing the swords around a corner :D. The best vehicle to make an escape from a pending Atomic bomb during a Zombie Attack - convertible Beetle with the roof down.

Have you seen Pegasus V Chimera :D - if you enjoy the awful movies then check out Infected (better /worse than Apocalypse Z) , The Facility (actually any torrent by Iguana :D).

Went to see World War Z last night, was lots of fun. Kinda your cliché blockbuster but defnitely enjoyable, would recommend it.

Yeah I'm doing a lil' better cheers, but I've been drinking a bit too much lately (aka. Drinking). And there's a family meal today which will consist of lasagna and many varieties of booze... Atleast I'll be eating though ;)

Hehehe yesss! =D Just in case she needs to shoot her swords when a zombie pops up unexpectedly around said corners 8) Hehe.
And the Beetle was the cherry on the cake :D

Now - There are 3 films on a certain website called "Infected" but I think I know the one you mean, but I'll watch them all tonight in a post food coma ;)

But I'm afraid I'm not into Monster vs Monster flicks - I didn't even like Power Rangers as a kid :D Hehehe
 
Watched Seven Psycopaths last night and liked it :) a British made film which is always nice, Film4 I think

Wanna see that myself. The ads hype it up quite well and I'm a sucker for zombie films :D
