EADD Heroin discussion v.21 -- Big shout out to kkattastic :)

Well, that's the drug companies for you. "Low potential for abuse" is a tick-list item in a sales brochure. They replaced pseudoephedrine in cold remedies with phenylephrine, because you can use large quantities of pseudoephedrine (way more than you would need for a whole family with colds) to make crystal methamphetamine; but phenylephrine is useless for making crystal meth.

Unfortunately, phenylephrine is also utter bollox as a decongestant, being consistently out-performed in trials by placebos; but fortunately, pseudoephedrine is still available behind the counter, if you ask for it by name. Just hope and pray that you don't run into the Pharmacy Fascist (we know a song about that .....)

Yeah, I think it was a token effort by Pharma to appear in some way that they give a shit. No doubt made the pill more expensive whilst not doing what it said on the tin and everyone carries on abusing.

It's crazy to think that Big Pharma are complicit and all to happy with the mind boggling revenue amassed from the recreational use of their products. :/ The pharmaceutical industries moral compass is.......erm...... they've got none to be outta line or direction actually. Scum industry

Better off asking for Sudafed (non-drowsy) than pseudoephedrine, might ring fewer alarm bells. I always used to keep a packet of Sudafed handy for when I ran out of sulphate. 6 - 8 tablets would perk me up quite a bit. Another fall back, especially if I was in the mood for some particularly slutty drug taking, was DoDos (or DoDo Chesteze as they're now known). These contain ephedrine, caffeine and theophylline and pack quite a punch in a dirty kind of way.

America containing the most. I can't for the life of me think why a drug company needs a sales rep who's earnings like most with that job title are commissioned based. Turning up to meetings with presents and prizes if you just sign on the dotted line..

Their whole model is fucked and about all its good for - as intended - is for making obscene amounts of money off of shady or misdiagnosis. Everyones dosed up there.

What went on with Oxy, Roxy and the rest of them, particularly Florida is outrageous. All it did was make a few rich, a hell of alot sick and then take them away. A whole mass of people who may of never tried an illicit drug in their life and may not of ever were hopelessly addicted to opiates and the only folk willing and able to supply them were the Mexicans or Columbians, with heroin. 8) Good fuckin going.

Wait ..... there's a "drowsy" version of Sudafed? What's that got in it? I think I want some!

Anyway, my thinking behind asking for "something with pseudoephedrine in it (and not that phenylephrine shite)" was that they could then sell you their own brand, if they did one, which might be cheaper than a brand-name product. Though you probably could qualify that with "..... or anything cheaper with the same active ingredient". I'm not going to be made to feel like a criminal for wanting something that will actually make me feel better, even if it could potentially be used to manufacture a tiny amount of methamphetamine.

Yeh, it does seem to imply that doesn't it? Sadly, the other type of Sudafed is not 'drowsy', it's just 'not non drowsy' and contains that phenylephrine shite. The term 'non drowsy' is just pharmacist speak for 'this is the stuff with speed in'...

Awwww, bummer. And there was me expecting a little bit of promethazine, diphenhydramine or maybe even *drool* doxylamine succinate.

It's like those cheap and nasty "day and night" cold relief capsules with paracetamol, *spit* phenylephrine and caffeine in the "day" pills; and just paracetamol and phenylephrine in the "night" pills. So they don't actually make you drowsy; they just don't keep you awake like the "day" capsules. (The real "Day and Night Nurse" contain paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and pholcodine in the "day" capsules; and paracetamol, promethazine and dextromethorphan in the "night" capsules, and are well worth the price because they actually work.)

Ill tell u what really angers me about big pharm and the government. The fact that they put so much money and effort into anti abuse. Like they would rather addicts Lose an arm and suffer horrific pain shooting there drugs, that gell up and fuck your body up massively. than let us get high off there drugs. it boggles my mind that this is there goal. To seriously damage an addicts body who dares to try and inject their tablets. Yet they're all too happy to take the money tho. fucking mind boggling to me.

The oldest one I smoked had been lost, by my best estimation just under 30 months previously. It was one of those where id started the plate, then had to gently fold it up and put it 'somewhere safe' which usually results in the item getting lost forever. So when I founds it - it all came flooding back including my reasons for hiding it in the first place. 2 1/3 years isnt a great amount of time but it appears very stable once melted - it smoked as if id just thrown it on the plate and considering it was early 2011 I was in 7th heaven to find a classic, succulent, pre - drought blob of horse to smoke.

So thats the oldest gear ive knowingly smoked. How much longer it would be good for is anyones guess but id say its got more chance of remaining viable in its solidified, melted state than it has as a powder.

That's good to hear matt <ketamine, a good woman in your life can make all the difference. The Polish guys around here just sell speed afaik.
 
Well got sorted v nicely today - but found out that there is a drought on in east London might just be localised to hackney and surrounds - but did get a couple of shots form an old dealer who had some nice gear that was really dark (the Asian crew I get from is always sandy coloured) this was like chocolate powder but melted n to a noice blob and on top of a couple of the other bags had me nodding -he was the only person out of a dozen or so who had his fone on.

Where are you staying these days? That stuff was bought in Paisley. I have a bit of a catch 22 situation. My guy lives literally 2 minutes from my house so because I'm practically a next door neighbour I get pretty much all the tick I need. That might sound good but when I'm skint and bored the temptation can be too much at times. I'm glad to be working again though because that helps pass the time.

I recently had a girl who I used to score from get in touch to ask me to get her a teenth from my guy because she know I can get a teenth for £50 and it's decent. I didn't do it because a while back she said to me "if you want a teenth let me know and I'll pick it up when I'm getting mine". So I took her up on that and she said "I just have to sell off a couple of bags then I;ll get back to you". She never did. I found out that her boyfriend talked her out of it by saying: why should you take the risk carrying extra when you are getting nothing for it?

Don't you just hate people who ask you for a favour that they would be unwilling to do for you?
