I saw something the other day saying about how we don't seem to care if it's "brown people being shot or blown up but as soon as it's happening to white people it's headline, front page news".
Which is true I guess but we don't normally think about it.
I guess it's cos, like someone said just above you, we see it as 'old news' because a lot of people, especially around my age group, don't see it as something happening to an individual or a group of individuals but just sort of lump Syria, Iraq, Afghan, everywhere else into 'the Middle East' and see the shit that happens there as to be expected

When something happens to white people, a lot of us seem to act taken aback because 'what did we ever do to anyone?' etc. People need to gen up on outside affairs more, myself included.
In other news, happy morningnoon to all. Weather is still on a good 'un here, definitely making life easier. Start my new job next week, money situation is finally de-fucked. I still have no money, but that is better than having less than no money so all's well. Genuinely happy with life

Even put away a few quid to go out in York on Saturday, meeting up with a mate I've not seen in ages and possibly some of the college lot too. Not had a proper night out siiiiinnnnce...last May, not counting the odd night out to the pub here n there.
