Finally the postman showed his face and had my 'gifts'.
He usually gets here between 11&12 most days but got to 12 and there was no sign of him so started doing some housework to help pass the time and then he turned up about 12.30.
Was so relieved when I heard the knock on the door and saw his hi-vis vest.

Naaahhhh.... I do love him deep down, and when he's in a sound mood then it's cool to hang out with him and his mates (we all know each other from the local location where all the events we do happen).
But FUCK!... His anger issues are really bad, but it's just the way he copes with what him, my sis and I go through:
My Bro - Expresses anger in all forms.
My Sis - Usually sound, but takes her anger out on others and is generally grumpy 24/7 - Plus she seems to be following the route of me and my mum = Booze...
Me - Internal anger and self-hatred.
We've all our own coping mechanisms with the environment and situation we're in, but I like to internalise rather than take it out on others.

But eh, fuck it - He's calmed down and I'm gunna find him a screw for his comp.

I saw something the other day saying about how we don't seem to care if it's "brown people being shot or blown up but as soon as it's happening to white people it's headline, front page news".
Which is true I guess but we don't normally think about it.

I guess it's cos, like someone said just above you, we see it as 'old news' because a lot of people, especially around my age group, don't see it as something happening to an individual or a group of individuals but just sort of lump Syria, Iraq, Afghan, everywhere else into 'the Middle East' and see the shit that happens there as to be expected When something happens to white people, a lot of us seem to act taken aback because 'what did we ever do to anyone?' etc. People need to gen up on outside affairs more, myself included.

In other news, happy morningnoon to all. Weather is still on a good 'un here, definitely making life easier. Start my new job next week, money situation is finally de-fucked. I still have no money, but that is better than having less than no money so all's well. Genuinely happy with life Even put away a few quid to go out in York on Saturday, meeting up with a mate I've not seen in ages and possibly some of the college lot too. Not had a proper night out siiiiinnnnce...last May, not counting the odd night out to the pub here n there.

Boston bomb stuffs: I agree with Kenny, Ceres & Co. Yes it's a terrible thing but no more terrible than other horrific acts of violence which occur on a daily basis in countries less white than America. News media is a business same as any other. They know what sells and what sells is tearful whitefolk mourning murdered children, scary blackfolk shooting and/or stabbing whitefolk, and shouty brownfolk blowing up "Our Brave Boys". And animals doing something amusing. Anything that riles up the target audience into apoplectic righteous indignation and fear (or stultified acceptance of everyday horrors to the point of being dull white noise) whilst conveniently sanitising events that may cause thinking to occur basically.

Things are not going anywhere yet but will hopefully know more tomorrow. Got an appointment with the DSP to discuss my options. Although "options" may be a strong word 8)

Very unlikely that it was a cell from an established international group as they would have access to proper explosives or at least they would have the ability to make their own heavy duty explosives as the London bombers did. The type of bomb and very low casualties point to some domestic loonie of the Unabomber type.

Is looking like a homegrown right-wing nutjob job to me. Definitely not "terrorists". Bombs appear to have been knocked up out of gunpowder and ball-bearings - hardly the work of trained killers. I did see one report where they mentioned that they thought it could be the work of a white supremacist group. Don't know why they think that but I guess we will probably find out sometime in the future.
Also some american governor I think he was had a letter sent to him that was soaked with the poison Ricin.
Saw it on the news this morning, think the letter was intercepted before he got his hands on it.
